A SNOWem written by ME...

Twas the day before SNOWSTORM and all through theTown,
the Woooers were Wooing , "Let those Flakes Fall Down."

Their Leashes were hung by the Door with Care..
In hope of some white stuff , PILING  up, out There.

Ernie and I were down fur our NAPS
when out in the yard we heard SOMETHINGY  making Splats.

Away to the Door we flew like a FLASH,
pulled on our coats and pawpared fur a DASH.

We saw the stuffs was covering our ground.
We HUNG our heads with a frown.

We HOPE that you snow loving WOOers are happy as can BE...
Butt fur US ... SNOW  makes it miserable to PEE.

WE dedicate this SNOWem to   Khyra and the OP Pack and Bert and Goose and Murphy and Stanley and Sarge   and any of you other headcases   whack jobs    TALL and FURRY ONES out there who are misguided  believe SNOW is GOOD.                 Frankie and Ernie
PeeS.....      Spring will be here in 79 days.

Also Last night it took Sarge's MOM...    90 mins.   to get HOME    beclaws of the huge snow they got.       It normally takes only her about 40 mins..     Butt SARGE was lovin the snow.

That was so beautiful that it brought a tear to my eye. We got nothing but sunshine and palm trees here. Wanna come down to FL and be our guests for 79 days?

Hugs,
Lily Belle

We are not big snow fans either.
Our state and city just are not used to dealing with it and any movement after a snow grounds us forever.
I'll join in on your spring countdown.

Oh Frankie that sure was a nice poem, but I'm afraid that I'm one of those nut jobs that loves the snow. We just got a foot of new snow last night and I've already had a great time playing in it! I would happily plow some paths for you and Ernie if you needed me to.

What a great poem. Wish we had snow instead of the endless rain. Have a terrific Thursday.
Best wishes Molly

Well now, if we had got snow as promised by the stupid weather guy it would have been OK, but all we got was fall on your butt ice, and freeze your paws to the concrete. What garbage!!!

One good thing about snow in iowa is that margaret could get lost in a snowdrift if only Mom would let her go outside and play....mom doesn't like to drive on snow, or ice either so she walks to work and falls on her butt! Poor Momma!

No snow here yet, just lots of rain.

I bet snow isn't as much fun when you're so low to the ground! We got some on Christmas Day, but then it all froze solid and is just ICE! It's supposed to mostly melt today, though.

Great snowem! Hope that you did not get too much of the flakey stuff!

We were lucky, it started snowing later in the day and now it's raining. I'm worried about it turning to ice though.

You need to have Dad clear you a pee spot.

We wondered if you all were going to get snow! Dad talked to his sister in Oh! Hi! Yo! and she said they were expecting a bunch.
Keep your feety-feet warm and dry!

you knows how those dogs with the freakishly long legs likes the snow. However, dogs with correct sized legs (like us dachshunds) knows just how hard to pee it is!

Oh Frankie, that is a really super poem. But do tell me, is it 'cos you and Ernie have little legs, and the snow make your pee pee thingies cold, that you don't like the snow? (No Gail that is not an impertinent question, I think I can judge better than you what is appropriate subject matter between us boy dogs).

What a great poem Frankie! Now, I have to tell you... Gracie was livid when she went outside and had to trudge through snow up to her nose to find a place to pee. Of course she expected me to shovel a big space for her to go and so of course, I did.
Hope your Christmas was good!

Whack jobs? Surely you can't mean us. Just because we go all mental when it snows, and stay out until our toes get cold, but whack jobs? Naw, you can't mean us! Stay warm dudes!

Wow, Franklet, you're a pawesome snowet! BOL Very nicely pawed. Say, you're both looking very dashing in those coats...get it?dashing...as in through-the-snow! BOL again. Anyway, that snow is a ton of fun as long as you don't have to tunnel through like you guys. Sorry it snowed on your territory. Just be glad you're not here in my 11 inches worth! BWAR HAR HAR

Love the little poem. But I gotta say I do like the snow. I have almost a foot and a half in my yard. You two would be buried. But I would make a real good trail for you my friends.

That was a very well pawed snowem, Frankie! We've been having a bit of snow too. It hasn't been too bad, but the roads are icy.

Hope y'all had a very merry Christmas!

I think those who get snow don't like it..... and those who don't get snow love it (like me)..... and then there are the nut cases in-between. Mum maybe thinks it's the low riding dawgs that get their "pink bits" partially frozen when trying to pee that have the worst time. Sorry for you and Ernie!!
