Home alone case?
I am wondering if you would be prepared to take on a case which would involve prosecuting Gail's employer? I will be posting about the issue on Thursday.
In short, earlier this year, while Gail was on unpaid leave, the company closed the office where Gail worked (which was less than a mile from our house) and relocated her to another office (same company) 17 miles away. So now that she is back at work 4 days a week, she can no longer come home at lunch to see me, and is away from the house an extra hour each day. OK so a dog walker does come to take me out, but IT'S NOT THE SAME.
Worse still, the company still has an office only 1.5 miles from our house, but they say there's no room for Gail to work there, although we both feel she could easily be squeezed in!
Surely you legal eagles can find some grounds for taking the company to court for cruelty to dogs?

I'm sure Roxy will make sure you will dress appropriately for court. This case will be a slam-dunk for sure -- what a heinous crime!!
That Roxy is a trainee and needs to be brought up to speed on the most important thing about lawyering. I'm concerned that she doesn't know about running up the chargeable hours and padding the bill. Doing research into golf before going into a Scottish court is very important background. Don't forget to charge the client for the greens' fees.

Oh gosh I am now so worried about my case. I mean, I had been labouring under the impression that Ernie was some super smart hot shot lawyer, and then I turn up at his offices only to find he is all togged up for a game of golf. And worse, his outfit is like AT LEAST eighty seven years out of date. And now I am concerned that his legal knowledge will also have failed to keep pace with the modern world.
Oh dear, this is not going to be the first ever case that Von Schnitzel, Ketchum and Deddum have lost, is it? I so wish I could be feeling more confident.
