Our good furends REILLY and DENNY sent us a surprise Pressie this summer... and pawt of it was a package of Apple Cucumber Seeds... they came all the way from AUSTRALIA... Which is where them Mum is originally from... and the HOME OF FOXY ROXY.. (Ernie Insisted we say that).
So the very day they arrived we Rushed to the Garden with Dad and showed him where we wanted them planted.. and then we WAITED...
And WAITED
And WAITED... while the vines Grew... and BLOOMED
and FINALLY...
LOOK what we got... a very SPECIAL Cucumber... that does NOT make Peeps BURP...
It wasn't very big... butt It WAS good to eat... All FOUR of us had a bite and Not a BURP was uttered.
Thanks Reilly and Denny fur making our garden EXTRA FUN this year.
We will be back Tomorrow... FUR SURE...

I have never heard of such a thing …but you know I am always up for trying new treats! And how nice that's it's not too big …I like my treats compact but tasty.

Crikey ..... you call that an APPLE cucumber???? Apple cucumbers are at least as big as apples. That's a grape cucumber or something. Did you two, maybe, pee on it?? Somehow it got STUNTED!! Mum LOVES apple cucumbers. She eats 'em just like apples and she NEVER burps. A few too many seeds for my liking!!
Wow never seen one of those before. How cool is that and how kind. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
how great that you got such a special cucumber. and that it grows in your yard too and not only in Oz (the land of Reilly&Denny's mom AND FOXY ROXY, of course) is just pawesome. Seems you really have green paws!

Did it taste like apples? Or cukes?
Bol!
gosh it was very small - normally they are double that size - more like a large apple size - so long as it tasted good though.
I love apples so I probably would love that also....????

SHE loves apple cucumbers. We didn't even know they were from Oz. SHE tried to grow them last year, but Roxy dug them up and said NO.
We're not even putting in a garden this year. Dui doesn't like gardens..BOL!
Never heard of that before...something new!
Cool! We never heard of them before. How do they taste?

You got just one ~ well at that rate I don't see a cucumber salad in your future. Hope you saved the seeds so you can try for a bigger crop of two next year.
Maybe by 2020 you will hit the motherload with a dozen.
That was wonderful getting those seeds.
Thanks for being a friend

We hope you got more than just that one little cucumber. It sure was cute.
What does it taste like?
Pawsome cucumber.
That looks like a nifty garden veggie. We must add to our list for next year!

Wow! That is great that you got to grow something special from down under! My momma loves cucumbers but they sometimes make her tummy hurt. Wonder if that one would. It is very interesting being called an apple cucumber but it doesn't really look like an apple!
What a cute little cuke! We have never heard of them. But then again, we don't have a garden because SOMEBUDDY likes to dig *ahem* Seth.
