Remember last week when I had to go BACK to Columbus to see my Eyeball Specialist???
I had to have all the tests done AGAIN... I am getting kinda TIRED of this, I must say...
Paper Stick thingys in the eyeballs is NOT a good look. I don't recommend it... even though it doesn't actually HURT... it is sort of uncomfortable... They are put in there to check the TEARS... I have an UNBALANCE in my tears which caused me to have EYE BOOGIES... now I have OINTMENT put in my eyes EVERY DAY...TWO TIMES... and all is good.
Now this Tool... checks the PRESSURE inside my eye...
My dogtor actually TOUCHES the end of it RIGHT TO MY EYEBALL.... It didn't hurt butt I had to hold VERY MUCH STILL...
I hope that I don't have to have these thingys done again for a couple of months... and when it IS time... I only need to go to MY REGULAR (and super) Dogtor... HOPEFULLY I NEVER have to go Back to MedVet. Butt they were good at finding out exactly what was wrong.
PEE S...... if EVER you have to have a prescription medicine Of ANY type... a grrreat place to get it is from PetMeds you can CALL them at 1-800-PETMEDS and your own Dogtor can FAX your script(s) to them... and in 5 days... they come right to your house. We even get our Flea/Tick and Heartworm meds from them.
The Ointment that I have to take... FUR LIFE... is $7.00 Cheaper from PetMeds than from any other place. Just sayin.
NOW don't furget about Murphy and Stanley's FURST EVER Fractured Fryday Hairy Tail (FFHT) Stories fur day after tomorrow... The thingy that MUST be in there SOMEWHERE/SOMEHOW is.... When I opened the box, I was startled to find...... We have our story all written. It is FICTION... butt you can do REAL thingys or Whatever you want... even a POEM... as long as it has the INCLUSION thingy. Just sayin...
PEE S..... some of you asked yesterday... if We Ever CAN our Milkbone Crop...????
In years when we have a BUMPER Crop... and don't eat every one... fresh from the Bush... YES, we DO can them. It is a lot of work... butt it keeps in all the FLAVORS and they are ALMOST as good as Fresh from the Bushes... AND this year it looks like we just MIGHT have enough to Can. PeeS... they are like green beans... not as good FROZEN as Canned... Just sayin.

I have been thinking about you and your eyes Frankie!!! I am so glad you know what it is and what to do for it!!! It looks awful with the things in your eyes!!!
Glad you are taking your meds like a good boy that you are!!!
I did a post I am proud of---come see~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our Mom has had that test done many times - she had sjorgrens syndrome and doesn't produce tears and very little saliva - so she understands exactly what you went through and knows what a brave Frankie you are because those things really are not comfortable. Hmmmmm can you send Mom some seeds for that milkbone tree - we definitely need to plant a couple in our garden :)
Frankie, we are glad your eyes are being monitored. (I once had those papers in my eyes, as you say they were not comfortable, but I was very brave about it.)
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
PS I have my FFHT story all ready, and can't wait to find out what others have written.
Oh ---- we use Dr Fosters and Smith for our pet meds (they are much cheaper than Pet Meds :)
We are checking blogs from our e-vacation destination, can't believe we still have interwebs connections on our e-vacation. Anyway, that looks like a pawsome milkbone crop.
They did it again? Ewww... Butt at least you said it doen't hurt. Frankie I hope the meds will help you and you can visit your regular dogtor in a while or 87 years later.
where can I buy seeds for a milkone tree? I will take good care of that tree and I will water that thingy every day...
Frankie my sweet buddy I hope and purr you never have to go back to MedVet (even though those ladies adore you)!! Those eye strips look most uncomfortable and you are my hero!!

We hope that you don't have to go back either and the ointment does the trick. We are looking forward to M&S day tomorrow. Sadly we have not had time to join in but we will hopefully next time. Have a tremendous Thursday.

Canned Milkbones? Silly boys… milkbones belong in da cookie jar.
Wags,

Frankie that I ball stuff is crazy. I pretended the sticks in my eyes hurt, then you get hugs and kisses. Hope your I balls are healing with your meds. I get drops daily, 87 different kinds.
Snorts,
Lily & Edward
Thank goodness the woman is canning the bones!
Oh Frankie...having those thingies sticking out of your eyes is just plain freaky! I am glad it doesn't hurt you at all. 1800PetMeds has some great savings on medications, don't they? That is a good thing when you have to take meds for LIFE. Hmmm, I wonder if I can come up with a fun post for tomorrow?!? I'll think about it some.

We are so glad you're all right. Our Miss Ginger had eye problems and eventually lost her sight at age 7 after four operations and all kinds of medicine. But she was still full of ginger! Good luck!
We are so glad your eyes are working good! Thanks for the shout out too!
Your pals,
Murphy and Stanley
I also had those papers sticking out of my eyes, and momma said that is the first time she ever heard me cry so much, it was very hard to listen to...I have a neg. on both eyes when it comes to tears. I am glad you were so brave dear Frankie.

NO, those phd papers in your eyes do NOT look comfortable. You poor thing!! But it kind of made you look silly too, hehehe. I am glad your eyes are being watched.
Awwww, Frankie, you have me feeling so sorry for you now!! Don't worry, you still looked furbulous with those paper thingies in your eyes, and I'm very impressed with how well you stayed still there! You are such a brave doggie!
Pippa :)
Oh, the eye doctor vet. I wonder if yours knows mine? I have to go back next month too just to check stuff out. It's a bit spooky when my Dr. Eyeball Vet turns out the lights!!
Oh my God, that looked like a horrible procedure. We are sending you big hugs. Hope your condition is taken care of with your medicine and you don't have to go through that again.
Frankie you are sooo brave to let them stick those paper thingys in your eyes AND then put that other thingy right ON your eye.
Glad the meds are helping
hugs
Mr Bailey, Hazel & Greta
Frankie I do love your wonderful milk bone treats that grow magically from your garden and such a big crop that you spend so much time canning them! Phew! Hard work! Ha,Ha!
I can't believe all that you have had to go through with your eyes, it is crazy to see you with those paper thingies stuck in your eyes and that eyeball touching thing too, scary, but I'm glad that you are feeling better even if you do have to have eye cream every day, you are so very good for your dogtor! Love and Licks from your furiend Frank XxxxxxxxX
Oh yuk, Bites couldn't take looking at those stick thingies in your eyes, he covered his head with a pillow and was groaning. Oh Barharhar, canning Milk Bones!
The Mad Scots
So good to know you are doing so well, Frankie. Our Dad has a lot of those same eye issues and gets the same tests done - how funny is that!!! We hope you continue to get only good news about your eyes.
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Bumper crop of Milk Bones....that's got to be good.
Those papers in your eyes make our eyes water...yuck. Glad they've shown that you're okay!
Can you get sick eating unripe Milk Bones?
Oh no, that looks so terrible! You must be so brave, I would just squeal away from there as fast as my hooves could take me. At least that milk bone tree looks delicious!
The paper stick thingies on your eyes are making us really squeeeeeeemish, Frankie. We glad to hear that it doesn't hurt.
We need to have a MilkBone crop! Next year for sure.
Love ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly
We are glad the test doesn't hurt, it does look yucky. We are so glad you are ok, we just want to say that again. We also want to move to your part of the world if milk bones grow on trees.
Hi Y'all!
I have that eye testy thingy done every once in awhile. I hate it. I have dry eye, worse in one eye with a growth on the lower lid, plus multiple allergies. I get eye ointment twice a day and drops at least 4 times a day, plus allergy pills morning and night. :( and weekly allergy shots.
I feel for you. It's a very miserable condition.
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
TaiChi the Venerable had to have that eyeball pressure thingy, too. She handled it a tad less well than you did.... You are very brave, Mr. Frankie Furter!
*kissey face*
-Fiona and Abby the Hippobottomus
You had extra milkbones??? Dang this drought we are having. We got nothing!! Mom has had some of your same testies and says "ick!"
Oh, you are such a brave man and a good role model for all the dogs in Blogville! I didn't know treats can be canned. I feel like I've been lied to! We still can't get over how your MOM knows the real person who wrote my book! Chris - in the furs, ummm...clothes! Your Mom must be famous.

What a brave guy you are Frankie!! We are so glad that things are under control!!
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Frankie I am so happy that your eyeballs are ok, but I am sorry you have to go through all of that. You are a very brave pal and a good example to your brother. Thanks for the milkbone crop advice. Mine is pretty slim so far, but Mommy is gonna try some fartelizer soon. I will let you know.
Loveys Sasha
Hey Frankie
So glad that your eyes are doing better. That didn't look like any fun at all.

Jazzi
I'm so sorry you had to go through all that eye stuffs, Frankie. Those paper thingies sticking out of your eyes don't look comfy! Luckily the vets figured it out so you'll be OK now. Nobody likes to have to take meds, but it's good you found a cheaper place to get them.
My boys and I worked on our post for FFHT today. We're all set for tomorrow!
I love that you can your dog bones for winter so that you'll have them all year long and never run out! We're gonna have to get a bush like yours so that the boys can get fresh dog bones too.
Where do ya get dis cookie tree thing?
Paws crossed you won't have to have those eye tests again for a VERY long time!
Now...about those Milk Bones, we've looked everywhere and we cannot find Milk Bone seeds anywhere! Where did you get yours from?
Wally & Sammy
Glad da peepers is under control Frankie my pal….I ope da dogtor reclaim his eye-stiks an yoo is not walkin round like dat….
Frankie, my friend, sometimes I think vets do stuff just to mess with you. Paper tubes stuck in your eyeballs? I suppose you need to humor them if it means you can protect your vision, but even so.
Kisses,
Dexter
Those eye papers do not look like fun. But if they work for testing your tears, I guess you can't argue with success. You're still wicked handsome and brave!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Frankie that looked like something out of a horror movie. Glad it helped and things are getting better.
That looks so painful Frankie!! I do hope you never have to do that again!!
Glad the ointment is helping.
