OH MY..... I guess it is time fur me to give my OPENING Speech... I HOPE that I don't mess this up... I am pretty nervous.. and my TUX is .... not very comfortable... WELL.. Without further ado....
Ladies and Gentlemen, as Chairman of the Blogville Olympic Committee, I am here this day representing both Blogville and our Neighboring village, CatBlogosphere. Catblogsophere's Large Stadium is currently being Renovated and so in the Spirit of OLYMPIC Sportsmanship and Fellowship we have filled This stadium to the brim with our COMBINED Athletes and their adoring Public. I would like to extend our heartfelt,
Welcome to the 2012 Olympics Of Blogville and CatBlogosphere.
I would like to say that All of the Athletes you will be watching over the 15 days of competition are the FINEST and FRIENDLIEST that you will ever encounter. They have Trained Tirelessly for their chosen events.
The HOSTS for each Venue have ensured that you will be treated to an experience that will rival the spirit of good sportsmanship shown by the Ancient Greeks.
I wish to tell you that the Olympic Committee could NOT be more PROUD of the selfless efforts of the HOSTS, and dedication the ATHLETES.
At this time, I ask that you PLEASE RISE..... TO HONOR the Athletes and the HOSTS that are bringing them to you......................( 87 seconds of STANDING OVATION and REVERBERATING CHEERS).............
