AND...... REMEMBER.... EVERY ATHLETE is to send One pic to POSIE  for being seen in the PARADE OF ATHLETES...   which is pawt of the OPENING Ceremonies... She has her rules posted on her  6/28/12 post.. click on her name above..         PLUS  ++++
      you will ALSO be sending ONE picture to   FINN  so that you will also be seen in the STADIUM fur her CLOSING Ceremony.         you only need to send them ONE pic Each   no matter how many events you enter...  BUTT you DO need to send a pic to them.       We will want to see EVERY SINGLE ATHLETE  in BOTH of these EVENTS......   OK???     


Today we will start with Synchronized PEEing... hosted by...Shasta and Shiloh  to be aired on AUGUST 6th..
It took a long time fur Ernie to start Using the FENCE...  Like I (Frankie Furter) do.   BUTT you can see that he has the concept ... now...      

 BUTT,   I gotta say.... I wish that he would do it..... a little FARTHER UP THE FENCE.. from MY Favorite spot.   Wouldn't you agree?         

The NEXT event that we Trained fur is...    Stuffie Gutting    DE-STUFFING   which will be held on AUGUST 6th. and is being hosted by... RUTHIE and Crew
ERNIE is VERY good at this Event...      Sometimes he is a Bit TOO good.   so here I am training fur  a bit of    KEEP AWAY..  along WITH   trainin fur        DE-STUFFING.           

 Now ERNIE takes DE-STUFFING to the full Limit...  he not only Rips out the GUTS and SQUEAKERS...  he take off LIMBS and other assorted body pawts.

 MY BROTHER.... THE    OVER ACHIEVER...     

 Let's move on to some of the training Ernie and I have done for    Free Style Zoomies... Hosted by Susie and Sidebite..  on AUGUST 7th.     
 There will be SEVERAL mini events held under this Umbrella.    Please go to their BLOG to find out which thingy(s)  you will be wanting to enter...      Ernie and I (Being Dachshunds) have chosen to get in shape fur the....    (GROUND HUGGERS) race.     Hey Now.... you stop that... I can HEAR you LAFFIN...
 Remember how I told you to be Creative and try to get DOUBLE DUTY outta your stuffs... so you can get into MORE (hopefully ALL) of the events...  well here is an example of that...  I use THIS training exercise fur BOTH      Catch me IF you CAN     and   now ..HERE fur the Ground Hugger's Race.               I give ERNIE a bit of a head start and then I       ZOOOOOOOOOM   down MY HILL  after him.

 THEN we come BACK up the Hill and I say READY SET...  ZOOOOOOOM ERNIE... and off he goes AGAIN...   and I count to 87 and   ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOM   right behind him..   (I know he is kinda hard to see butt ERNIE is that Brown Speck... half way down to MY Maple tree.)

  Next... I am gonna take a bit of a SIDEBITE my self... and SHOW you the hosts fur the event.
WHY????   You ask...       Easy Peasy....      Ruby and Penny are MY BRIDES of nearly TWO YEARS.    Are they not the mostest GORGEOUS WIMMEN in the World????   {{{SIGH}}}}

OK....   So Ruby and Penny are bringing you ....    ROACHING  and ROLLING  on AUGUST 7th.         Roaching and Rolling are the same thingys,  you knew that didn't you?   
Ernie and I are both really good at it... butt we have slightly different techniques...  Here, allow me show you...
Being young and kinda foolish  Ernie goes fur the Throw himself down and FLIP Over and jump up kinda ROACHIN...   I mean REALLY  can you tell how FAST he does it... the boy is a total BLURR.   

 I (Husband of Ruby and Penny) take the more MATURE approach...   Slow and Steady and oooooh so through.     I start with my head and ears....   and then work my way on from there....

 See ?    Roaching is an ART FORM     somethingy to be SAVORED.    Like I do my WIMMEN.

OKAY......       MOVING RIGHT ALONG HERE....

let us talk SQUIRREL HURDLES...   which is being hosted by BAILEY and KATY on August 8th. You can go to their post dated  6/25/12 to see all the rules.. and please note the change in EMAIL addy for them...  your pics will go to the SHELTIETIMES Email addy that they have up there.   AND   DEADLINE for Sending them is   JULY 18th.  like all other events...      
     Remember all the times I said.... BE CREATIVE...   Well Ernie and I had to be creative with this one... as you will see.    
     Okay... Lissen up ERNIE....       FURST you gotta SET the Squeakie Squirrels UP...  YES that's good...   you are gettin it ..

 AND THEN you TRY not to Knock them down when you jump over them...   (Did I mention that we USED to have 6 of these squirrels???    You will have to ask MR. Destructive Ernie about the others)  

 OK ERNIE.... TRY AGAIN....     No need to Whine...  this doing HURDLES with squirrels is Really hard...   especially when you are a DACHSHUND and EVERYTHINGY is really HIGH to US.    Just do your BEST buddy.      I'm here fur you.

 OMD OMD....... it only took 87 tries but Ernie FINALLY made it over BOTH REMAINING Squirrel Hurdles!!!!!!!         It was one of his FINER MOMENTS and DARN... I am ONE PROUD Big BROTHER...

I am sure you saw a couple of weeks ago... that Ernie and I BOTH had to do some MAJOR MAJOR training fur this one...       We are not very artistic at all.    BUTT.. hehehe  BUTT  ....  BUTT.... we took a CRACK at it anyway...

OH GOOD GRIEF...   GET AWAY ERNIE....!    SORRY FOLKS... GUESS THAT IDEA DIDN'T WORK OUT LIKE I THOUGHT IT WOULD.    Sheesh.      Well any way he really did use crumbled up tissue and I must admit that it didn't turn out too bad..   and once I soaked Ernie's ear.. the glue and green ick did come out.       

He did color out of the lines though...      

and I know you have been waiting to see what I would do fur Dad...    I thought I would keep this a secret  from him... and then fur his BIRFDAY... I would have somethingy 
PAWSONAL to give him.....   He is gonna be THRILLED when he sees it...  I KNOW he will want it hung right over the TV so he can see it EVERY DAY...      I used one of my FAVORITE pictures of DAD...    to Model from.      I titled it...    Dad is my Best  Butt T

Lulu Louise's      SNACK SACK RACE for August 8th.           Ernie and I were TRULY ready to Train fur THIS event...       FURST we got a bunch of our SNACK SACKS....  FULL ONES naturally...   and then  we...  sort of    OPENED UP...

 We did a bit of    KEEP AWAY    Training and then...   Katie Bar the Door...

 We grabbed a SACK OF SNACKS and...

 AWAY we went....   like a herd of TURTLES WILD DACHSHUNDS.. headin for the CHOW LINE.

 This makes 28 of the 34  events that we have shown you our training for.   We hope you will come back tomorrow for the 5th and Final of this series...
