Do those toads and frogs take over from the snowmen in summer? You sure have a lot of them...BOL!

We mainly have frogs....tree frogs, and Bella sometimes carries them around, until distracted with food. But they don't make her sick. She makes the frogs feel sick.

Frankie, Cleo has a few toads that she is friends with as well. She has no learned the lesson of not licking the toad though. She thinks it is cool to pick them up, let them hop away and catch them again. She looked like Cujo one day after meeting our Mr. Toad. We have a post coming up on her Snake Hunt. Cool toad you have there, Frankie. Has he met Charcoal yet? Mom says she doesn't know if any of us has ever licked a toad and we aren't saying. Like you, we think we would only do it that one time:)

Your little toad is kinda cute and I can definitely see why you would wanna lick it. But it's good to know that I shouldn't do that if I ever come across one. You're just full of all sorts of good information, Frankie!

Hi there Frankie

Well there is a coincidence you doing a toad and we doing a frog! Only difference is, we (Lucy) killed ours and you keep yours all nice and safe

As to foaming at the mouth - Lucy did get a case of really bad hiccups afterwards....

Thats a very smart lesson. I hopes that it didn't hurt though.

I thinks the toad is cute. We gots lots of green froggies and they is very very little. They live on all the deck plants. I haven't had a chance to lick one. They move too fast!

Hey Frankie! Your toad looks just like our Mr Toad, do you think they're related? Love your little village you've made for him, ours just has a plastic compost bin, like us even Mr Toad is neglected :-) Dex & Lou xxx

The foaming thing, is that like eating a bar of soap. I have never seen a Mr. Toad and I need to know if it taste like soap incase I run into one.
Glad to see a paw pup from a hill in Ohio too.

Oh, I know how tempting those toads are, but I've never licked one or picked one up! Your toad has some pretty fancy digs. We don't have any in our yard, but we see them on our walks sometimes!
