For a couple of my furends...

This is fur Wyatt... He had pictures of HIS Wooly Bear Caterpillars the other day. They are magical and can predict the weather. His said it would be a Rainy winter at His house...
Mine has a TAN face..(something we ALMOST NEVER SEE ON ONE) which means very Mild Fall.. then a little bit of Black which means a bit of wintery weather in late November and December... THEN.... LOTS of tan AGAIN so the rest of the winter should be MILD with just a tiny (at his butt) bit of yucky at the very end of winter. Yeah!!! A MILD Winter is GRRRRREAT... I surely do hope Wooly is Right.

I thought at furst that this was Dexter (A.K.A. PeeWee) butt once we got to "talkin" I found out he wasn't Dexter and I was REALLY disappointed.

Check out this guy... he was HOOOOOOGE like Mango, butt I knew Right Away that it wasn't him.

Now this pawt.. is for my Furends DownUnder. I am lookin' at a BIRD... that was in my...

Woodburner!!!! He even got up really close to the glass door so my mom could take a goood picture of him. Boy Howdy am I ever glad that we are having a super MILD October... or else he would have been a Roasted Bird. Sort of all Dead like Bella has been making out in her yard.

Here he is sitting way back in the woodburner lookin all scared and stuffs. Sad isn't it???

This is a full pic of the front of the woodburner. You can see the bird back there.

My dad helped him to get out... very carefully... to the outside. The bird came down the Chimney... JUST like Santa Paws does.

Now THIS... is what I (Frankie Furter) got in the mail the other day. It had me allllllll excited. I got a Howl O Weenie card from my DEAR SWEET WONDERFUL FUREND... TWIX.

JUST LOOK! Isn't that the cutest and mostest wonderful thingy you ever did see??? Twix is the GRRRRRRRREATEST!!!!!!!!!

If you don't believe ME... just ask her DAD.
Guess What the Weather Man on TV just said... He thinks that my furend here is gonna be RIGHT.

PeeS.... Hey Barney... My Mate in MANILLA, N.S.W. Australia.... I hope your mom has a WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY. Give her lots and lots of Birthday kisses and hugs from US on the Hill!!!!!

One summer momma and master had NO cook outs and then they wanted to have a nice fall BBQ and discovered a bird nest in the cooker! How about that?

Nice pictures of full sized doggies.

G'day Frankie My Mate.
thanks for thinking of my Mum, she had a great day, with a couple of surprises, the very best one was from my sort of other Mum, the one who looked after me whilst Mum was visiting your country, Annette had taken many many photos of me during my holiday with her, I thought it was just because she loved me, but it turned out she loves my Mum, had one of the photos
transposed onto canvas and mounted, it looks like a regular oil painting, I am wearing my cute it was not me face, not my angry I want it now face. Mum is thrilled with it, for she knows that I am getting old for my breed of dog. I am sure she will take a photo of it when it is hung and send it to your Mom.
The poor bird in the wood burner, how strange I hope your dad fixed the funnel so no more can get lost and maybe cooked.
Licks and wags for downunder
Barney.

Thanks for straightening out that wollybear story for us - mom always gets it confused. We saw one last week too, but it had some black in the front, then a big orange band, then about 1/3 black again in the back. Hm. Wonder if the weather in this part of Ohio will be different??

I hadn't heard about a being able to predict the weather from a fuzzy catapiller before! I saw a white one not too long ago. I hope that doesn't mean we're going to have a snowy winter.

That bird is kind of pretty. Glad your dad was able to help him back outside.

We haven't seen a woolly bear yet. But I love them. And I hope yours is right. Hey, I got one of the same Halloweenie cards in the mail too!

We haven't seen any wooly bears here yet, but I'm hoping they're all brown!

Mom said that when she was little, her grandma had a chimney and they had some birds fly down it and into the living room! Can you imagine that excitement?

Oh my tiny birdies! I wonder if he's a scout for santa paws. Were you the one to discover his predicament? Phoenix would have been out of control if there was a bird in our stove. Hehe.. that gives me an idea....

Hey Frankie!
Great pix of the woolie worm. Sure hope he's right about a mild winter. I love the snow piled up really high, but no one else in my house appreciates it. Love the pix of the burner birdie! What fun to have a really, live bird in the house with you. Glad Papaw got it out safe. You didn't have something fowl for dinner did you?
