How to get the Most out of you 2-legger(s)

Okay !!! Yesterday started out at 20 degrees and went to a bright sunny 45!! Since I had not been "off the hill" since Dec. 27th. I thought it was time to get out and about.
I convinced mom and dad that they needed... Fresh air, a change of Scenery, and Groceries. Not necessarily in that order.
As soon as I finished my blogging and checked my E and P mails, I hid between my 'cliner chair and the table. This always causes "them" to heap much attention (AKA whines and whimpers and general begging) on my little self. This is something that I find most amusing. They THINK that I still hate to go in Jennifer the Jeep. Little do they know that I am now Pretending just to get them to beg and plead with me. I wish you could be here to see and hear it. WAAAAY too entertaining to EVER allow them to quit.
It took 87 mins. for mom to get me out so that she could put my hoodie on me and .... the best part.... CARRY me down the steps and into Jennifer's room. It was all I could do to keep from Howling Out Loud.
So anyway this is just ONE of the things that I do to ensure that I get the MOST out of my 2-leggers.
Not to mention our stop at PetSmart... for me to have DAD hold me up so that H E could look at the birds and mice and other neat stuff. hehehehehehehehehe
Care to share some of your "training tips"????????
I am thinking of putting together a .......... MANIPULATION MANUAL.

My best training tool is to just lay on the floor and moan. This typically results in special snuggles. I also employ body slams when I see momma grab the car keys to convince her that wherever she is going, the Mango needs to go along too.

Slobbers,
Mango

we find lots of things buried in the snow at the farm--and lots of winter apples still hanging on the trees!

Sadie loves to go for a car ride, we take her everywhere we can but there are those places you have to go where she can't and every time she see us getting ready to go out she whines and jumps on my leg.

I just lay around and give the "sad" look and that gets attention. If I see them with keys, I am at the door jumping up and down, I wanna go, I wanna go~~ and come to think bout it, I havent been anywhere in awhile either, Mom doesnt carry me to the car, I have to trudge through 10 ft of snow, so hence the reason why I havent been anywhere!!
A few sighs will get me stuff too.

Moms is a sucker for my twirling act! I get lots of yummy treats, when I twirl. Too bad that sometimes I nearly twirl myself into the ground!! ;)

I think your manipulation manual would be very successful. Don't give Marge any ideas!!!

I've got it easy, Frankie. I just exaggerate my limp. I leave all the whining and hard work to "the other" Frankie.
Twink!

Definitely a best seller! Since I'm still recovering from my 'procedure,' all I have to do is pretend to be licking down there and mom gives me a bone or something yummy to chew on. Took her no time at all to learn this one!

I like the sad eyes ploy too...that or BIG SMILEYS and sitting by the door...at the very least it makes them feel VERY guilty if they leave without me!!

Hi, Frankie!
I have very well trained my grandparents! They give me and do everything I want!
My mom is a little big harder to convince but I always win at the end!

Ginger employs her big sad soulful eyes, and Mom always falls for them. Then Chip and Thai do it, and MOm is just a pice of mush in our poaws

Juno likes your tricks. she runs away from Poppy and he comes right to her, no matter what corner she's hiding him. she groans at thim and this makes him laugh with delight (she likes to entertain) and then proceed to pet her lavishly and give her treats. Sometimes he will call her out of the corner and make her do tricks but she enjoys the tricks because they make him laugha and he then hands out, you guessed it, treats.

Loki likes to put his head in your lap and look up at us with sad eyes and give us the "i was a poor abused abaandoned dog on the streets of Taiwan. one step away from a restaurant frying pan and two steps away from a "doggie retreat sanctuary" for doggies who would never be suitable for a home."

Those training tools wreak hell on Mr. Wild Dingo's and my hearts.

sigh. Franky please do not publish any training books. Please do not speak of training to my doggies. I would like to live a few more years. :)
