I've had this grrreat thought...

Hi everybuddy,
As you know... I sometimes have some pretty wild thoughts. This is my latest one.
November is the month for being THANKFUL. After reading some of yesterday's comments... and thinking about MY adoption I have this idea for us.
Let's all do some thinking our adoption time. What our life was like BEFORE and AFTER this very important day in our lives... AND in our two legger's lives.
We could each write up our story and include the good the bad and the scary of it. Then... we can all post them on the same day!!!! We could use the POST OPTIONS THINGY on our blogs and...WRITE THEM AHEAD OF TIME... then set them up for POSTING on THANKSGIVING DAY November 27th.. (Lorenza, do you celebrate Thanksgiving? If not, you could still post your story on the 27th. and give it to your mom and grandpawrents for Christmas.)
What a grrreat way to tell our two legger's how thankful we are to have them (well, most of the time, anyway), and how much we love them for ADOPTING US.
Soooo???? What do you think???? Would you be interested in making Thanksgiving a day dedicated to telling YOUR adoption Story on Your Blog???
We could spread the word to all our blogging furends. It would be one huge big special time of giving OUR thanks.
I was also thinking this... beclaws of the poor economy this year... we could Print our own story off and give it to Our Own Two Leggers for their Christmas Or Hanukkah present!!! The money WE save on silly presents for them.... we could DONATE to an animal shelter or rescue group...... EVERYBUDDY would get something grrreat that way. SOOOOOO? I ask you again... what do you think???
Our two legger Pawrents could sit around on Thanksgiving eating turkey and reading our WONDERFUL STORIES. MUCH better than football and shopping and silly stuff, I think!!!!
If YOU are interested... let me know and... spread the word to all of your contacts . A gift that would KEEP ON GIVING !!!! It would make a lot of unforntunate animals.... VERY HAPPY.
REMEMBER: You wouldn't have to have it ready until Thanksgiving, butt you COULD pre-post it if you wanted. They just shouldn't be able to be read until the 27th. Pee S. Let's not let the two leggers know anything about this. It would spoil the big surprise. OKAY????

Oh yes!!! You will be able to tell about how glad you are to be in such a grrreat home, AND tell how happy you make your adoptive pawrents. Tell all the grrrreat things you do for them and stuff like that. I'll make them very much happy. I can't wait to read your story... after I eat MY turkey dinner. hehehe

Sounds like a fantastic idea to me! I don't remember much of my life before I met my pawrents, but I sure do have lots to say otherwise. Maybe I'll even let Mason get a few words in edgewise :) Count us in for the 27th!!!

Thankful Snorts-

Hi Frankie!

Sadie and Momo think it sounds like a good idea, but Sadie lived with another pup and a group of breeders and Momo is a cat.

They both said " They can do it but Momo was the real rescue because he came from the ASPCA and their over 500 cats and kittens sent to what the dogs refer to as the Rainbow Bridge."
So I guess what they want to ask is if cats can do this too.

YES MOMO your Adoption story would be wonderful to read. Jump right on board with the rest of us.
I think the only ones who SHOULD be excluded are those nasty RODENTS!!! Can't wait to hear BOTH OF YOUR STORIES.

GRRRREAT Brutus, glad to have you on board too.

Grreat Khyra, I knew you could be counted on. And those ornery beagles are in too. They were worried that their story wouldn't work because they were such Puppies when they were ADOPTED. That won't matter at all, you two. You will be able to tell all about how your adoption effected your pawrents and other super stuff.
Gee everybuddy ! I am sooooo excited about this... I almost dribbled a little when I read that you were all joining in. I feel soooo very much good about this project. THANKS THANKS THANKS

Sunny Scooter and Jamie, First let me welcome you to my blog. I am glad that you visited. Oh my YES... I wasn't adopted from a shelter either, so you just hop right in and join us.
When I started this I had no idea that we had ALL been adopted. I thought I was different. Who Knew??? Soooo, everybuddy will have an adoption story to tell, some will be sweet and gentle and lovely... others will be filled with sad or bad memories. The thing is... they are all going to HAVE HAPPY ENDINGS !!! Glad to meet you. I'll go to your blog now.
