CONGRATULATIONS

The Race of the YEAR is over... and the WINNER IS....... All of US!!!

What a fantastic conclusion. The contestants showed each other the kind of Caring and Compassion that the... two legger world ... can only DREAM of.

Bunny went BACK for Pip and Pip insisted that she Save Herself. Each put their FRIEND ahead of themselves. I know the race was called a Tie... butt I prefer to see it as ... DUAL WINNING. sigh!!

I would like to thank their TRAINERS.. Puddles and Roo fur all they did to prepare the contestents fur the Race of their lifetimes. They were at their PRIME both Physically and Mentally. NICE WORK!!!

I would also like to thank Dr. Daisy fur keeping the Barkaholics in the crowd under control.

Also hooooge thanks to Alien fur clearing the Snow from the course and to Deputy Zona and Chief of Police Sarge... fur finding all that... contraband. It is unfortunate that they were unable to CATCH the CULPRITS.

NOW... about the Contraband... I am going to put that in the very capable paws of Judge Remington. He can decide how best to Dispense with the..."goods".

I am also going to ask Secretaries of SIGNAGE AND BADGES... Ronnii and Richie if they could make up a Sign/Badge... TO COMMORATE THIS HISTORICAL DAY.

If they(Ronnii and Richie) are willing..... I was wondering is You... (all of Blogville) might like to have a HOOOOOGE Banquet to present the "Badge/Sign" to the Key Players... and all of blogville. Maybe sometime near the end of the month????? I am sure that all of our cabinet members would want to take part... as their Pawsitions warrent. (Mayzie Gal.. your pawsition as Sec. of Pawsitive Community Events... Might just put you... at the Head of the event.)
Ya All let me know what ya think> >>> OK????

February 5, 2011 a day to REMEMBER and Cherish.

Great idea Frankie!

I think a championship banquet would be fun!

Plus, during da race, I found a motorized cooler full of beer hidden ina corner. I would be happy to donate it to da celebration! (Since I can't ever imagines who it might belongs to, and return it to its rightful owner.....heeheee)

A huge banquet at the end of the month? Will there be beer? cheetos? shrimp(my favorite)? And if I "The Official Barkaholics Counselor" sanction one night of barking for this one special night, would you approve of such noisiness, Mr. Mayor?
I want to say "congratulations" to Bunny and Mr. Pip! Obviously, the workouts and rigorous training paid off and winning TOGETHER was the the best result ever!
Another congratulations are in order, Frankie, because YOU won the SILLY SATURDAY PHOTO CAPTION CONTEST! Your name has been entered into my sidebar's HALL OF FAME fur all eternity!

Well, gosh, thanks so much! I think Bunny is the real hero - imagine her coming back to save little old me!

I am a bit sore today - used muscles I didn't even know I had yesterday. And of course, there were all those beers and cheeseburgers I consumed at the after-party!

Your pal, Pip

P.S: The banquet sounds like lots of fun. Just don't ask me to give a speech as I have a fear of public speaking ...hey, maybe Daisy can help me with this, too.

Lovely idea!!

It was a memorable event and we're still enjoying watching the repeats.

Don't ask the Lady Of The House to make lemon mini muffins for the banquet. She just burnt the bottoms of the ones she's cooked and now the whole house smells yucky!!!

I am so glad that everyone enjoyed the big race! Goodness! I had NO idea it would become such a big event! I think a banquet would be lovely.

Pip trained so hard for this big event, I was totally impressed! Who says that dogs who are a few years past their puppyhood can't put in a good showing? I know that I had tons of fun with all of it!

That was the MOST exciting race. We were on the edge of our....well floor, since SHE gave away our furniture....

The Banquet sounds like a bonzer idea. Maybe you could use the contraband for the celebration.

Can we commoners come too?

I watched the race on Bunny's blog the other day and it was just great! I am new to your blog, Mayor Frankie, and was invited here by The Teacher's Pets. I'm owned by five dogs myself, one being a Miniature Dachshund girl named Radar who thinks you are just handsome enought to eat up!
