My Mom's Paw Covers.

Some of you were wondering how I am feeling about my Incredible Shrinking Ears now. Well, thanks to all of your KIND BARKS and Grrrreat suggestions (except for the ear weights) I DO feel MUCH better. I'm kinda hoping that it is either summer shedding OR major curling due to all this rain I keep having dumped on me. WHEW!!! Plus... Ruby and Penny said it would be fine, no matter what... SIGH SIGH .... Those wimmen are just PRICELESS. hehehe Butt, not for long... I hope.
Look what my mom bought when we were in Pencil Vane E Ah.

NEW PAW COVERS!!! They were only $22.00 green papers a pair... and NO Tax on 'em either. Check out the Old ones... Not pretty... butt they have Lots of GRRRREAT smells on 'em. Mom was sooooo happy about how cheep they were... that she bot FOUR pairs.
What a nut.
Hey thanks everybuddy for the kind and informative barks about my.... Short Ears Thinyg. I was scared out of my collar when I noticed it. Butt (Dawg Bless their Sweet Hearts) Ruby and Penny said it didn't even matter to them, even if all your suggestions fail to work or it grows back in the fall... whichever. WHEW!!! I am soooooooo lucky to have Grrrrrreat furends and Wonderful Wimmen.
PeeS. on Tuesday/Cheeseday/Chewsday... I made mom and dad take me to my two favorite stores in the big city. Furst I went to We Love Pets and then to PetSmart University and International Stuffie Distributorship. And guess what???? I wore my new SAILOR HAT!! I thought the check out chicks and all the cusstomers were gonna swoon!! Ruby and Penny... EVERYBUDDY Loved it. I had mom tell everybuddy that it was FROM the TWO of YOU!!!!

PeeS.... We just heard this sad news. A lady on her way to work ... hit and killed a large Black Bear... about a mile from my house. The lady was NOT hurt.. that is good... butt I am sorry about the bear. Although it is VERY VERY rare to ever see one here... I do live in Bearfield Township. When my mom was going to Athens for Grad. School classes... about 87 years ago... a bear crossed the road in front of here one night at about 10:30. She STILL gets all excited when she talks about that. AND... I don't think I told you this one, last week the cougar was seen at the end of my road. That is less than 1/2 mile from my house.

Wowie...new paw covers. I don't understand why hers just don't go barefoot like everybuddy else. Her must think she might step in DODO. That is da only conclusion I haves...this might be good fur Remlock to investigate.
Poor bear...such an untimely death. We haves many bears in our neck of da woods, so to speak. I might need to look out fur thems so they don't eat me or sumptin.

Hey Frankie,

Your ears are fine, it's just the humidity that makes everything cringe up, you should see my Mommy's furs. Ruby and Penny will love you regardless.

I am worried about my Tiger too. I've tried to call him several times but can't reacxh them.

Watch out for the wildlife. Good thing your mom has those new foot covers so she can pick you up and run away if she sees one of those big cats lurking about. I guess your walkie will be less than half a mile.

Slobbers,
Mango

P.S. Sorry about the bear. I hope that he crossed over the bridge quickly after his accident.

What a funny title for your newest blog post, Frankie! I couldn't imagine what "paw covers" were until I saw the pictures of your mom's sneakers! Hilarious! I hope she doesn't throw the dirty sneakers out because you need to keep on sniffing them!
I am happy your girlfriends are so understanding about your ear situation! I knew they wouldn't mind what your ears look like because they love you no matter what and that's what true love is all about!

We are also sorry about the bear. Sometimes we feel sorry for all the wildlife that suffers because of cars and stuff cause the wildlife was here first...But I do sure love to go bye bye..

Bears? We can only see one in the Zoo . . . :( which the National Zoologically Garden in Singapore don't allow us dogs to go in . . . *pfft*

Hopefully they will change this rule someday so we can get to see a Bear! ^^

We bet you were stylin' out in your sailor hat yesterday!

What a coincidence. We had a man hit and kill a bear in East Tennessee yesterday. It's so sad, but it must be that time of year.

Your mom bought FOUR pairs of paw covers? Is she a centipede? I am glad I don't have to wear those things. I think I'd go mad!

You always have people swooning over you, so even if your ears do shrink, I still think you'll be fine.

Aww! RIP bear!

Ah those pretty paw covers worth the trip.
I'm glad that you have got over the Shrinking Ears, whoa, I would be frightening if I were you.
You look fine with short ears, more masculine, that means more girls wagging their tails off at you.
Thanks a bunch for supporting my cybersisters Autumn&Jasmine. Your kindness means a lot to me.
Cheers!

Uh oh. No Flirting with Cougars! We have lots of bears in our parts too. Once in a while the young ones get in trouble. We are sad for the Bear in Bear County. :(

But we like your mom's new shoes! They are pretty and will acquire some fun new smells soon. xoxo

Paw covers... I don't understand two-leggers sometimes. I'm glad your mom is happy though!

And... OMD... a COUGAR?!? Where do you live?? My grandparents have a cougar in their neighborhood, which is a highly populated area in NJ. Be careful out there! They can make your ears even shorter!

Sorry about The Bear's fate -

The one that had been spotted about five minutes from here must have finished his tour through this part of Pawsylvania - he was probably a boy bear in search of his own girl bear -

Nice paw khovers fur your mom - so, are there 87 pairs in her khollekhtion?

Hugz&Khysses,

Hey Frankie, it's me, Cousin Sarge. Sorry to hear about the bear...I could loan you one of ours. I see them a lot here in PA. Even have a cougar too. Now my place and your place are both like Wild Kingdom! And you thought the swimming squirrel was bad! We have flying ones too! It'd like to drive me crazy. They're on the ground, on my deck, in my trees, in the creek and even in the air!! Keeps me busy chasing everything. I tried barking at the cougar, but it was aparently too dumb to know it should be scared of my bad self. Glad you had a great birthday here in PA-land. Funny about the paw covers too..somehow my mom ended up with a pair just like those! I love to stick my snout in them and make her giggle. Then I sneak in and lick my dad's pillow to make him growl at me! tee hee

Grr and Woof,
Sarge

Wow Frankie, your mom must be planning on doing lots of walkies with you since she bought 4 pairs of paw covers! How exciting fur you!

MinnaK

PeeS....I keeps wondering why hoomans bother with new paw covers. I thinks the old kind are MUCH better...they smells so much more interesting.

My mums is so silly that she wears lots of stringy paw covers in da summertime. She calls them sandals, but I thinks they are useless. All her toes still show and stuff. Silly hoomans

Nice new paw covers - our Mom likes hers to be nice and white too. Great price too.

That is sad about the bear and scary about the cougar. We have been having a backyard visitor this week too - a cute little fox who seems to fear nothing. Ciara wants him to be her furiend.

Whew! I'm glad your ears aren't shrinking afteralls! And gosh, your mom's new paw covers are pawsitively spiffy. I'm glad you had such a good time showing off your new hat. Did the check out girls give you extra treats for it?

Poor bear guy. That's why my mom always makes me stay outta the road. Did you know that my mom got a notice at work the other day that everybuddy needed to keeps their eyes wide open cuz there was a bear that was hanging out nearby. She wasn't too much worried about it but it would prolly skeer her silly to have a cougar too close!
