Well, Mr. Doug swears by duct tape. Jan argues it is horrible to get off in a humid climate and it leaves icky stuff behind she can't get rid of. But good luck, Ernie.

We think you might need more of one of the woodsy looking (brown) camo duct tapes.
Duct(k) tape is a cure all and often a preventive. It was once used here to secure a quilt around our grandfather clock until I decided I was tired of jumping on it.

Crikey .... best of luck with that one ..... Mum used that stuff to put one of my beds back together after I ate it. It worked for a little bit but then she had to throw my bed away. It just wasn't the same.

Well Daddy uses Duck Tape for everything, but we think maybe a needle and thread would be a better solution.
