WE.... took Mom and Sarge's Mom to a PetExpo in EARie, Pencil Vane E Ah..
It was a kinda LONG drive... about 87 mins..
THIS is us.... sitting on a ROLLING WAVES Bench Inside the Expo building... We could look right out on the waters of
LAKE EARie.... it was kinda Cool Drool to do...
This was the FURST EVER Lake EARie PetExpo... and we got to meet the Wife of the Guy who set it all up... they did a good job fur their furst one....
There were LOTS of other Dawgs there... lookin at stuffs and...
I talked to this Corgi girrrrrl. She had NEVER EVER been to an Expo before and She LOVED it.
Then this guy... who we THOUGHT might be one of the DOODS at furst... came up and after a sniff or two... we realized that he was just a POODLE with NO DOODLE... and ... THEN we discovered that HE was really a SHE...
This Grrrrrreat Dane was HILARIOUS.... he would go from one booth to the next and LAY DOWN... and Do you see his SISTER??? She is the one in the PINK... SHE was dressed fur Success.
NOW THEN.... we DID see these SHEEP DAWGS.... they had ALREADY had their Spring SHEARING....
They said that they thought their mom FURGOT that it still gets COLD in the EARie Area ... at this time of year...

Mom used to say our mini Dachshund, Toto, was a Great Dane trapped in a Dachshund body.

You are SO lucky you get to go to a Pet Expo. Ma always leaves me at home when she goes to the one in Orlando. Little Oz gets to do so much fun stuff without me. Sheesh! You met so many great dawgs. I bet you had a FAB time.

When mum was married and lived in Ohio (Cleveland area), both the houses they owned were only a block or so from Lake Erie and when she worked in downtown Cleveland, she used to drive along the lakefront every day!!!! That was waaaaaay before putters and doggie blogs etc., so .......

What a fun trip. We would never have lasted that long in the car. A tip of the tail to you both
How fun! Mom used to live on Lake Erie on a little town called Avon Lake in Ohio. She had a tiny SeaRayboat named "Irish Wake" but she said being on it in Lake Eire was like being in a paint shaker at Home Depot so she sold it.
I'm so glad you two had a road trip and new stuff to smells.

OMD!!!! HOW FUNS!!!!!! You guys are so darn lucky!!!!! We gots a pet expo in our town, butts Ma NEVER takes ME!!! She says it would be like taking a bull into a china shop...whatevers that means! Apparently I gots attitude problems....pffffft!
Anyhu, you gots to see Ma's most FAVORITE doggie (after MOI, of course....) OES!!!! Ma loves the Old English sheepdoggies! Her's was named Panda, and was the sweetest doggie evers! Well, besides MOI, of course....
