We hate to tell you this.... butt there has been some MUD SLINGIN' around town...
See we have had SEVERAL days of Nice Wet Weather... You know the kind.... that turns dry hard Dirt...into our FAVORITE COLOR.... M U D !!
this is how much came down in 10 hours... 1.75 inches of it.
OH and those are our SNOW PEAS behind the gauge. They are growing and
Pawducing like CRAZY..
SOOOOOOO being Dachshunds... and loving to DIG... we couldn't RESIST... We headed to the (used to be THICKet) THINet... where dump truck guy dumped all the nice Dirt last month... and WE..... sort of went a bit WILD... We were going to just DIG fur 87 minutes... butt we simply could NOT stop... We DUG and practiced our MUD SLINGING... and Root Pullin and Snout Snorts... and it was GRAND AND GLORIOUS...

You boys have given us just wonderful ideas about what to do when it rains here and we go outside to play later, gussie and Maggie already can dig holes to china so maybe we will just make them bigger, and use it as a pool...perhaps you should print a how to dig manual......stella rose
Oh wow, you had a pawesome time!! What fun! We're supposed to get 5 inches of rain here this week, because some mean guy named Bill is bringing us all the bad weather!
Mom made me stay on the sidewalk this morning except for a quick stop at the fire hydrant as the ground is so soaked. But she didn't want me all wet and smelly in her little house and I don't do baths at home well.
That's OK, I got to curl up under her desk at her feet while she sent letters to family members and played with her FO-TOES.

Wow! That was some wonderful mud! Ours is starting to dry out. Dad actually mowed the swamp yesterday. But more rain is predicted by Saturday!
Our Monsoon Season does not start till the beginning of July!!! In the meantime it is very dry and dusty here in Tucson. I think I will be ok during the monsoon!!

Good work on the digging! And it's never nice to talk to your two-legger that way. No wonder she gave you a (much needed) bath! I had to give Miss Oswin a bath last year: she had fallen in the cow dung thing and was covered in cow dung, straw, grass and all sorts of other things. But she was very sorry. Mainly for herself!!
