3.1415 PI are ROUND
TODAY is PI day.... Pi are ROUND you know...
Last Fall mom gotted a BUNCH of Apples .... three varieties... and made Sauce and
CANNED her OWN Apple Pie filling.... enough fur 14 Pies...
This is how she makes the Crustys....
We won't show you the finished Pie though.... beclaws we KNOW YOU.... there would be Slobbers ALL over your Key Boards and then you would get in trouble and then you would blame US... and we don't want to be in trouble with your peeps.

I am wondering what is the radius of your pie. Then I could calculate the circumference and area. Oh and of you told me how deep the tin I could also calculate the volume and work out how many portions there would be.

In our house we round PI down to 3.0. Sure - our pyramids fall over sometimes but it makes things MUCH easier.

Your mom is the best! I'm fairly certain my mom would never make home canned apple pie filling....even though apple pie is my dads favorite! Can he and I come over and have some of that yumminess?
That looks SO yummy! We didn't know about it being Pi Day until this morning, so it's French Onion Soup Day here. Not that we get any of that - we don't - but then, we wouldn't get Pie either!

Well 14 pies...make 7 each with two small slivers out of each for the peeps. So that equation is Pi = um.......lots more pi for each of you.
