My furst memories were reading my Aunty Freya's blog and then discovering through her there was a whole blogsville world. WooHoo. My best memory, well, still making them with all my wonderful furfriends, doesn't get better than that does it! Loves and licky kisses Princess Leah xxx
Hey Frankie... Mom's first memory of blogville was after she met Ms. Kit at Dog Daze and Ms. Kit sent mom her blog address. Mom was 100% blown out of the water. While visiting Dog Daze she met Jack and TG from Daily Dose of Jack... TG and Ms. Kit were the ones who convinced mom to start a blog.....and as they say the rest is history. Hugs madi your bfff
Hi Frankie! My first memory of Blogville was actually when I had only a few people following me and there had been someone outside of blogville writing a nasty comment on someones bloggy, it was amazing how many furiends came together to warn everyone and you (Frankie) made a statement as Mayor which was when I first found out about the name blogville, it is such an amazing community where we all have such a bond, such love and respect for each other! Love and licks from your furiend Frank xxxxxx PeeS, Ernie is coming to stay with me this weekend, Wahoo!
Well, believes it or not, my FURST memory of Blogville was your wedding, Frankie! I didn't even haves a blog back then. Our furiend, Holly, (from Holly Wags - no longer blogging) introduced us to blogging and you and Puddles were our inspiration and the reason Mom let me have my own bloggie! SO....Your wedding was really my furst memory of Blogville and all the wonderful residents we've met since then!
Lovely picture! My first memory of Blogville…I wrote a post for Oscar's blog and that's how everyone befriended us. Such a welcoming feeling as I had never blogged before and all of a sudden I had lots of friends wanting to read about our piggy adventures, friends loyal to this day!
Hey FnE! Wow, this is a great idea for today! I like Amber's memory of your big wedding. My early favorite was Mango Minster. Oh, how I miss Mango and his event. I wish Dexter the LabraDork would come back and host it again for us. :) Gee there are tons of others like the Olympics, Frankie Furter Day, both Safety Weeks, Hono Roo Roo luaus. Lots of things! Grr and Woof, Sarge, Police Commish
Hari OM Being a relative newcomer to Blogville I became very settled very quickly... it is my kind of place and I was made SOOOO very welcome... the total melter was when our new Mayoral doods told me there were pawprints all over my heart...cuz its true and I love you!!! I am proud to call myself a Blogvillager. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
The funny thing is we don't remember how we found Blogville. It was just there. You, Amber, Puddles and so many more were a part of it and we've stayed because you're all so ... oh, better not say "sweet" to a couple of macho males and a retired Mayor. :)
I remember my first howl-o-ween in Blogville. It was GREAT. You know the french people aren't that howl-o-ween-folks and they don't decorate their cribs(butt send their kids for trick&treat)and they have no scary things in TV, except Mireille Matthieu. So it was for me like the first REAL howl-o-ween, although all my friends are far away it was like being a part of the great fest.It was great to see all your houses, the decorations and the costumes... pardon... CLAWstumes, right? And I was grateful that I landed on such a fabulous place. Easy Rider
We discovered Blogville when Frankie was Mayor. There were so many cool things going on people thought Mom was a little crazy when she tried to describe it all.
We have so many memories, but we are with Sarge...MangoMinster was one of the first things we remember. What we love most is that people come and go and come back to Blogville and are still welcomed with open arms... this is what makes Blogville a home and not just a place!
Our first memory of Blogville was starting a blog just as a diary, never expecting to get any comments and then discovering all these wonderful friends - both human and furry. We have all been through so much together, happy and sad and it really feels like a family. Dip Elliot Ming Teddy and Lynne x
We can't remember when we first heard of 'Blogville'. Gail remembers with deep gratitude her first contact with 'Dogs with Blogs', when Jo and Stella of Minnie-Snowda left a lovely, funny comment on Hamish's blog. Gail also says it is because she so enjoyed some of the early WFT blogs (Asta, Eric, Jake and Fergi, Jake and Just Harry, Agatha and Archie), that she thought of getting a fox terrier when Hamish the Westie passed on). Where are the WFT newcomers to blogging? Toodle pip! Bertie. PS We were thrilled to see a comment from Dexter on my blog today!
It is hard to pick a favorite, but we remember when we hosted our first event, the pumpkin guts slip and slide for 2013 Halloween. Mom was shocked when we had more than 30 furiends enter our event. That is when we truly knew we "belonged" here in blogville. hugs Mr Bailey, Hazel & Mabel
My favorite memory for me is when I opened my pizza truck. It brought me out in Blogville as the official Chef and I made soooooooo many new friends because of it. I have loved being Chef and mostly love all the friends I have made here. I loved the adventures with Puddles driving and crashing(lucky Mommy had insurance) it into a tree. I love Blogville, but I think my pizza truck really made me feel like I was home for sure.
Our very first memory, actually it might be mom's cuz we might have still been at our birth mother Daisy's place, was of the Mango Minster thingie. We knew Bert was a judge and mom was reading his posts about being sequestered and she had to ask Michelle if it was real or not. That was when mom decided the Blogville people must be certifiably insane and she should be one as soon as possible.
Hi Frankie! Mom Cindy here with my first memories of Blogville. I can't remember how I stumbled upon your blog but you and Mango were some of the first ones I started reading. I think it was around the time of Mango Minster 2010. I was only a lurker back then but enjoyed hours of entertainment from all the participants in Mango Minster 2010. I also have to agree with Mitch and Molly that one of my favorite pictures of all time is you with the mop wig on your head. I giggle every time I see it.
Thanks for helping to make Blogville what it is today and for all the great memories. Keep them coming.
That's a toughie! I don't knows, I thinks it was Wyatt and Oskar and Pip! I remember thinkin' that Pip was the cutest doggie I had ever seen! BOL Kisses, Ruby ♥ Pees: oh, and Puddles growing beer in her yardie...
Crikey Frankie and Ernie ... I'm still pretty new here but for me the BESTEST part is just being a small part of Blogville and feeling sooooooooooooo WELCOMED. AND getting to know and LOVE all the citizens. I'm just so happy to be here and to know you all. You are the BEST, aye???
Howdy Mr Frankie and Ernie, jeez this is hard. Mum's most exciting memory is our angel brother Bruce getting his very first comment from Angel Mango The Relentlessly Huge. Everyone in the family came to read it!! Then our best memory is the welcome we received from Blogville when we were tiny babies and meeting so many furriends. We never knew there was a community out there like it. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
Our furst memory of Blogville was doing a random search on youtoobe about dancing dogs. We came across videos of the late Big Honey Dog dancing. We found our way over to her blog and started clicking the links to those that wrote comments. We were impressed at the nice comments she received and started commenting on other blogs. We found the wonderful world of Blogville and we made our home here.

I wish I could remember. It took us a while to figure out there was a real community out there. What a great place!
