WIND Damage....

On SUNDAY July 27th... we had a TERRIBLE storm with LOTS of Wind...
    * we will tell you about the White thingy at the top left... Later....
These furst two are right at the END of the Nasty Storm...    LOOK at what it did...
It broke off a limb from one of our Peach Trees....

OH MOM.... Look at THIS....  your blue Gazing Ball is all Broken.
Stay back Ernie....  you might get cut...    THIS is a Job fur MOM...
 AND our GRAPES blew over...

 BOTH ROWS of them....
As you can see we WERE gonna have a Good Harvest... fur making PART of mom and dad's Winter Juice...    (we ALWAYS have to BUY more grapes beclaws mom cans MORE than 87 quarts of it).

BUTT Don't worry.... we WILL get SOME and DAD has ALREADY Gotten thingys put back up.
PeeS...*** see that White thingy hanging from the roof of our front porch???   THAT is our RED NECK...  BUCKET LIGHT... it is on a Timer... and it helps to light our Safe to Pee in the dark Pen...  Our furend had one of these bucket lights fur going Camping... and he showed dad how to make one... THAT was 7 years ago... and it has been Lighting the Pee Pen with the SAME BULB... ever since.     Our bucket light comes ON at Dusk and goes off at bed time... after our 10:00 PM Pee time.   COOL isn't it?      The OTHER end of our safe to pee in the dark pen is lighted by a MOTION light and it comes on when DAD opens the door fur us to go out fur our 10:00 pee.    ONLY dad can let us out fur that one.    IT is our RULE...       Sarge's Mom can tell you this fur SURE...She Tried last weekend... and we would NOT go out.... ONLY dad fur this pee time.
BUTT WE DIGRESS... BACK TO THE STORM DAMAGE
The vines should be OK once they get over the shock...  and we will have grapes...in early September.
After that.... mom will trim them back...  and DAD... AKA  Ol' SURE SHOT... is going to put them up on PVC Pipes instead of the wooden posts...    he will string the green wires THROUGH holes he is going to drill in the pipes....    Bet that the wind won't take THAT grape arbor down EVER AGAIN.
BUTT WAIT..... we have MORE damage to show you... on Sunday...

Oh what a mean storm. I feel sorry for your mom's blue ball and for your peach tree and the grapes. I hope you can fix the posts for the grapes, that would be sad when you had no juice this year. I like the idea with the pee light in a bucket. I only have a wind up pee-light and my dad feels like the monkey on a hurdy-gurdy when I need more time to write my pee-mail. At least no one got hurt and I hope there is nothing damaged on your house.

Oh guys it's heart breaking when all your hard work is ruined by storms...grrr the pee light is great ...we don't have one..the boys are out before bed and then fine til morning...but they are getting older so pee mail takes longggggger at night and especially in winter..summer we have to be with them due to snakes ..urghgh ..and PVC is great ..you can peemail on t..we have PVC around some small trees that were being used a sign posts by the lads..so PVC it was hahaa pee away I say..boy we really did have a pee talk! hope the storms ease up guys and that the garden springs back :) hugs Fozziemum xx

The darn winds - your poor veggie garden - just when everything was growing so well too. Mother nature must of been in quite a mood to huff and puff so much...or maybe old man wind was annoyed at her !!

First off we love your red neck pee in the dark light. What is a better idea is to tell mom to buy you miners hats. You can have a light on your head. Glad you are safe from that nutty wind

Good grief! Look at everything all over the place after the wind storm. Yikes! I sure hope your grapes recover so your mom can make whatever kind of magic juice she makes from them. BOL And oh...you must tell me about the bucket light...how did you make it? I gotta know!

thank dogness you are all OK, but too bad about the damage all around.
We have dusk to dawn lights a couple of places around our safe yard so mom can see us if (when we go out at night). We are kinda funny too about 10 pm peeing but it has to be mom that goes out with us. Except when the pug whisperer (son inlaw) was here, I (Greta would only go out for him)

You sure did get hit hard there. Glad you didn't lose your grapes. Or your pee pen light.

We figured it was your dad's safety rule about him letting you out at 10:00 but evidently it's YOUR rule. :)

Thanks for coming by and making us laugh.

Oh Boy you really did cop it, the garden is repairable, but your beautiful blue gazing Ball, that is so sad, you have had it for such a long time, maybe you need to drop a few hints to Lorie your birthday is very close, if not then maybe Christmas, I do hope so.

Oh my gosh. So sorry for so much damage. You two need to start planning out how everything should be put back up or taken away. Don't let your parents do it on their own. They will mess it up bad.

I sure hope your home was spared from any damage. We were supposed to have a BIG storm come through last night but it changed it's mind and went elsewhere.

Charliedownunder said...

Oh No!! Your poor garden. All that hard work and now more hard work to fix after the storm. Storms are mean, aye??

sprinkles said...

Wow, what a lot of damage to your poor garden! I'm glad it wasn't too serious, and that no one got hurt. We've been having wind storms in the evenings lately, but nothing like that.

Too bad about the gazing ball. I had a pretty blue one that broke too. I keep telling myself that I need to replace it, but haven't yet.

Oh No, what horrible damage the storm did, were you guys scared of the storm? Did you hear the noises of the things crashing and falling down? I'm glad everyone is ok but sad for all your damages and that you have to rebuild everything, especially your grape crop! The bucket light sounds great, what a good idea, my Mum lights my way with two sets of solar lights on each end of the garden.
You both look really concerned in the pictures, YOUR Ernie actually looks shocked at all the damage! Love and Licks from your furiend Frank XxxxxxxxX
