We went Out into out Safe Fenced in area... to "take care of Bidness"... and LOOK what we found...
DO NOT LICK the Toad Ernie.... TRUST me...
please excuse the leaves and stick and green scratchy rug.... we couldn't move them... or it would have frightened Toady away.
Reminder... tomorrow is Ranger's Lost Sock Memorial..... in case you want to show and tell what YOU like to do with SOCKS..... hehehehehe

We gets lots of those things in our "safe area" and some of them can kill ya if you licks them (or tries to eat 'em). When Mom sees one, her catches it, puts it in a bag, and walks it way down da road to set it free {and hopes it don't find it's way home again}
we saw a toad yesterday too - but much much smaller!
Don't lick the toad! We don't have any toads so far here in our yard, no even one in the toady house. Maybe the mean dogs next door ate them.

The toads usually leave when we nose them. It's the snakes we find so annoying. They move so slow when they do decide to go. The toads hop pretty fast.
Did he taste like chicken Ernie?

O please stay away, friends. Do you remember last year, as I found a toad? I turned into a foam fountain and I had to see the vet. (pill for me, bill for dad). The worst was that "you always meet twice" counts for toads too...

You are so sweet, we did as you asked
Hey F-n-E!
Wow, that's a whopper of a toadie! BOL We love those kinds of critters. Gee, my Mom would want to hold that little guy...then put him in her pocket for safekeeping. (just kidding) (mostly) BWAR HAR HAR
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, Toad Fan
You guys have the coolest visitors.
That's a Very shy toad. BOL!
We had a frog IN our kitchen the other morning and it wouldn't leave. SHE didn't want to pick it up so tried to herd it outside, but it wouldn't go--too cold. SHE finally had to pick it up.
XXXOOO Bella & Roxy
Ciara turns into a kitty cat and tries to whap those toadies when she finds them in the garden. But they are much too fast for her.
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Ernie, do you have a job with National Geographic? First the hummer, now a toad?
Your Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
I've never seen a toad...he looks interesting :0)
We never get toads round here - I wonder if dey taste good.
Crikey ..... we got 'em here! We call 'em cane toads. They were introduced to get rid of a beetle that was affecting the sugar cane industry and they spread like you wouldn't believe. They are DEADLY poisonous to dogs and all our native animals and we don't like them at all. Dad plays golf with them. Only jokin' but we do kill them. Our Harri had a go at one once and he was in a very bad way. The Vet managed to save him but it was touch and go for a while.
Hmmmm...did you ask him his name and where he was off to?
Wally & Sammy
Toad! Toad! Toad!
OK, I've never seen one, but they look FUN!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
