Hey Frankie and Ernie...
yep our Red Bud always blooms early April and like clock work the Dogwood blooms just as the red bud blooms are turning into heart shaped leaves. Normally the Azalea and Dogwoods bloom at the same time too.

PS we have 3 large white dogwoods and a small one in the back yard...MOL the small one has 7 blooms on it all on one branch. Pretty funny!
