Searching fur the Easter Bunny.... By Ernest vonSchnitzel

HEY......    Are YOU the Easter BUNNY????    Ranger says we are supposed to be out looking fur YOU.

NO Ernie.... this is NOT the Easter Bunny....     THIS is a my long ago FUREND... CHARCOAL.    He went to the bridge BEFORE YOU WERE BORN...    And I was SOOOOOOO sad.
OH Okay...   butt LOOK FRANKIE...   is one of THESE the Easter Bunny?????
NO... Sorry Ernie... these are the wild bunnies that I found in our garden...   They were so LITTLE and I like them a LOT...
Frankie... is mom taking your bunny away from you?
No Ernie... I told her that she could pick it up and look at it...     IF she was CAREFUL... like I was...

Then I made her put it back in the nest after 87 seconds...  and I VERY CAREFULLY Washed her Germs off... and covered it back up... ...    THEN I layed down with them and kept them warm and safe while they MOM was off getting somethingy to eat and drink.
Frankie, was their DAD the Easter Bunny?
Hummm well now THAT is a GOOD question, Ernie.
I do know that when they grew up they ran away and that made me SAD.
Where are MY pictures with the bunnies?
ERNIE... this was Also .... Before you were born.
Why don't the bunnies around here like ME the way they did YOU?
ANOTHER GOOD QUESTION, Ernie...    It is beclaws YOU Bark to Much and you CHASE them.
Just Sayin..

Ah!! Mona says she remembers Charcoal from before Ernie. Mommy's been sick so she hasn't been able to help us look for the Easter Bunny but Mona says that Mr and Mrs Willie Foo Foo will be visiting soon with there extended family. She was in their wedding you know long before I came along so me and Ernie has a lot income.

We have lots of wild bunnies around. Mama says while its OK to chase them out of the veggie gardens we have to be gentle or the Easter Bunny will not be happy. We've met the Easter Bunny and he is giant.

Barking and chasing bunnies drives away the Easter bunny? That explains A LOT! No wonder the Easter bunny skips our house!

That why we have no Easter Bunny? I think the squirrels have been putting the word out. Have a terrific Tuesday.

Such a cute picture of Frankie snuggling with the baby bunnies.

That would be hard..not to chase the bunnies. Years ago mom had bunnies...she had a angora bunny Thayer had long soft fur and a floppy eared French bunnies who loved to go swimming with her!

We saw the Bugs family out in force on our walk this morning. Momma said they're scouting out all the best hiding places in peoples' lawns for the Easter Bunny.

I love the bunny pictures. We had bunnies that use to nest under our dinning room window. Sad but the dog next door killed the mom. Lee kept one alive by carrying it around in her bra to keep it warm and at night an electric skillet on very low. We feed it canned milk. We saw it in the hood for a long time.
Frankie we have snow on the ground this morning and all the flower trees are sad. The magnolia turned brown.
Thanks for being a friend

I had a surprise waiting for me when I got to the post office. Travis had it sitting on the counter behind him. Guess what the return address had Ernie and Frankie Furter. SWTS is most interested in something inside. It shakes like it has beans inside. We are going to save it till Easter morning to open. I know who the Easter Bunny is ~ it's you dogs.
Thanks Muchly

Barking doesn't seem to scare the bunny from Alex's garden. He BARKS his BUTT OFF whenever he gets a sniff of it!

It always comes back!
