Rest in Peace PIP

Our hearts are HEAVY with the Losses that Blogville has suffered this week.
We have barely come to grips with the passing of Gracie Lynn and now Pip has left us.

Those of you who are NEW Residents, of our beloved Blogville, may not yet realize how LONG and DEEP some of our friendships have become.   I have known Pip and Gracie for YEARS.   They are two of the most giving and caring friends in our little village.   Always the FIRST to step up when help and support and LOVE were needed.   Always leaving the most wonderful comments.   Posting the most HYSTERICAL Posts.     ALWAYS Sharing themselves with others.     ALWAYS teaching us to LOVE OTHERS.

Pip has been unwell for quite a while.   He is now at PEACE and Running FREE and FAST over the Rainbow Bridge.    We know that there are DOZENS and DOZENS of his friends there.. just WAITING to WELCOME HIM as HE always WELCOMED them.
In all my thoughts about Blogville... I never once thought this picture of the DOUBLE rainbow that we captured from our porch would symbolize a Double loss.
 ONE for PRECIOUS PIP
 And the Other for  GRACEie.
Ernie and I are lighting candles for our departed friends.
We will Treasure and CHERISH the wonderful Memories that you have given us.   They are PRICELESS.

We will TRY to follow in your Pawprints.   We will do our best to become the kind of FUREND to OTHERS that YOU have taught us to be.    We will do this in your honor.
Run FREE and FAST dear ones.

Once again we are stunned to tears.
We only met Pip when he started his bucket tour, oh what fun that was. We knew then this little guy was a giant among all in blogville.

Pip, Pipster, Mr. Pip,
So many special names for one special little fella. I'm all teared up about the tribute you did for him and my baby girl. Thank you for remembering her. I was afraid she would be forgotten so quickly...:)
Much Love,
Mama Mindy

I know Pip and Gracie are dancing in the moonlight, running free in fields of flowers, and eating many cheeseburgers. They are both free of pain and discomfort now ...

We are trying to get used to life without Pip. I keep going to get him - we were going to watch a family movie and I started up the basement stairs to get Pip and remembered he wasn't there.

Thank you for such a lovely post. I'm going to keep picturing that double rainbow.

I don't know Gracie Lynn. How sad for a double loss!

It's been hard to see all of the wonderful tributes to Pip. It makes me want to cry even more. I'll be lighting a candle for him as well.

I'm hoping to do a tribute to Pip on Wednesday.
