Buzzard Alert...

Calling all of Blogville's SINGLE GUYZ..........     you gotta get bizzy guyz and get the GIRRRRLS of Blogville ASKED FUR A DATE.....    SARGE  is hosting  DATE DAY on SEPT.7th...     and you will want to have pictures up on YOUR Blog of the BEAUTIFUL girrrrl that you have Asked...    I know that  Madi is lookin and TAFFY is NEW and SHY and SHE really would like a date too.    LOTS of our girrrrls want a date... so GET YOURSELF BIZZY... AND ASK...    then you and your girrrrl.. work out what you are gonna do and where you are gonna go... and they you just put up your posts on Sept. 7th..              BETTER HURRY before YOU get Left DATELESS...
NOW fur the REST of our post.............................

It was REALLY HOT here for a few days....     HOW HOT WAS IT??????

Well, it was Hot enough that one of the BUZZARDS, that lives on the next hill over, to try and find a way to BEAT THE HEAT....         he spread his WINGS and tried to get the wind to blow through his feathers.
These pics were taken with the LONGEST/FARTHEST ZOOM that our camera will do.

Now if you LOOK Closely you will see that there are ACTUALLY TWO of them... One is looking AT us and the other... with his Wings Spread in the Breeze is looking to his Right...

In this second picture you might be able to see the second Buzzard a bit better...
This was all across the Road... and WAY down on the BOTTOM end of the BIG 20 Acre Field.
Buzzards will eat SNAKES Mice Rabbits and other Birds.
They will SOON be flying SOUTH for the Winter.    It is really STRANGE about their RETURN... There is a small Ohio Town called HINKLEY ... and the Buzzards ALWAYS return to there ON THE SAME DATE...   MARCH 15th..       The town has a FESTIVAL for the RETURN of the BUZZARDS.        We think they are Kinda UGLY...   Butt we LOVE to watch them SOAR through the air for EVER without Flapping their wings.

Those are really big birds. So glad they were far away. One worries that they would mistake you for a chipmunk.

Are you sure it isn't a buzzard with TWO HEADS? I'll be watching for a two-headed buzzard when it comes south to Florida fur the winter. I'd love to send all of them that are already here to Hinkley on March 15.

I would poop muself if I saw that Buzzard in my garden, are you scared that it make swoop down and catch you or Ernie for a light sausage dog snack! Aahhh I'm freaking myself out just thinking of it, I was almost swooped up by a hawk from the car window once, honestly, it was crazy and Mum was screaming!
I need to find a date, i wonder if the Woos are free!

Wow, so interesting to read about them. Glad we don't have any buzzards around here because we think they might mistake Cocco for a yummy treat (hehe on "mistake").

We are both still looking for dates. Not sure what young girl dogs are out there for Walter to hook up with. Millie has her eye on a certain black German Shepherd Dog, but she isn't sure if he is allowed to date.

We are surprized all the festivals that we have in this town that someone hasn't come up with the buzzard festival since we have such a problem with them. They are still shooting off fireworks at them twice a day, and twice a day they return. Mom even had a bad dream last night that one of them swooped down and got me, she woke dad up..he didn't appreciate that at all.
as far as date night...well mags can't go cos she is still incorrigible, and baby gussie is to little and I will be going with Stan, I just need to remind him.
have a great monday/tuesday

Lily will bite my ears if I find another girl to bring on a date! This hot and humid weather needs to go away. The buzzard must be airing out its stinky wing pits

Wow, I'm so super excited about Date Day! Thanks for getting the bark out. I'm making plans for Greta and the crabby girls are all agog about their date with Coccolino. Hope everyone else gets hooked up soon! BOL
Gee, those birds are kinda scary. Better move around a little to be sure they don't try to scoop you up! BOL

This guys can be scary, once the Buzzard killed our chicken within minutes. I have no idea how to find a date for Sarges date-day. Maybe Madi has an idea?

You could do with some sprinklers on for them to cool off in :)

That's nice that the single guys and gals have a special dance. I, ahum, am currently single, as my first love, Hamish, passed away several years ago. Then Mishka from Germany kinda just faded away. Sooooo....I'm open if any boys want to ask me. Thing is, mama doesn't have ready access to computer anymore. :(

Swallows return to Capistrano, and Hinkley gets buzzards....Bwahaahaa!

Sometimes in summer, our birds do that wing thingy, but usually under the sprinklers.

We have our dates all planned out and mom has helped work on details ALL DAY today. She says she has accomplished NOTHING! Keep your paws crossed for taffy to say "YES" to Stanley!
