Ernie was a little scared of Smokey... I think he might have dribbled in the NO walkin Wagon when Smokey WAVED at US !! NOW, I have a question fur you... Do you know Smokey Bears MIDDLE NAME??? I'll tell you the answer at the end of this post...
THIS is a REAL column from the W.T.C.... It was SOOOOOO quiet when it was passing... everybuddy was very respectful.
What parade could ever be... without FIRE TRUCKS... and there were a BUNCH of them... they FOLLOWED the Column... and THEY were QUIET TOO... Very respectful of their fallen from that dark day.
AND every parade needs BANDS... there were OVER 20 of them ... THIS guy is the Leader of his Band... Looks pretty spiffy doesn't he??
BELLS.... they were playing the marching Bells... MOM loves the sound of those.
THEY came all the way to ERIE, OHIO ..... from TORONTO, CANADA... the home country of MY beautiful wives. I STOOD and Saluted them with my tail held high. In honor of my brides. THEN I cried a little beclaws I MISS my Ruby and Penny.
OK.... I told you I would answer the question about Smokey Bear's Middle Name.. It is
"Drum Roll" please... baaawaaaah that is a Parade Funny fur you...
His full name is Smokey
THE Bear !!!!! Now this is just a Pretend thingy butt it IS funny. RIGHT??
NOW then.... do you have your Calendars all marked fur JUNE 27th??? THAT is when we are teaming up with RANGER for WEAR YOUR SUNNY GLASSES day... All you gotta do is post at Least ONe pic of you... wearing Sun Glasses... either REAL or Photoshopped... On YOUR blog and give it a Caption..... This was the best parade ever…. it goes on for days and days. My Mom got very excited to see Smokey. She had a 'Smokey the Bear' teddy bear stuffie when she was a wee little lassie. Maybe that's why she loves me when my fur gets long and shaggy. She'll call me 'her little bear cub'.

What a swell parade. 20 bands? That's amazing. The column from the WTC is a reminder and we must never forget. We guessed what Smokey's middle name was and were right! Woohoo!! Now we hope to get over to Ranger's bloggie, but things are hectic here since "the grandkids" will be coming to N.Idaho with Daddy this month. Less than 2 weeks away a & we are sooo excited.
