A fund is set up to help all our puppers and kitties that lost their home, peeps or just got lost, because of the May 20th Tornado in Moore Oklahoma. See these are our local buddies and they need our help. Some are already in some shelters around the Metro area called The "Central Park Dog Care" and "Central Park May Dog Care", they do shelter/rescue work for The Oklahoma Humane Society to handle stuff like this event. They are working with the Moore City Humane Society and some of the various Rescue places in Moore.

Donations are coming in, So much thanks needs to go out to all of Blogville for the donations and never ending sympathies being received  Just so you all know, our old house that we used to live in down in Moore is trash now, the neighbor hood had many fur-friends that we barked at and visited. One of our besties was OK and is staying with a pal in OKC, but two others are missing, hoping they have been picked up and are at the shelter, their peep has no car so Dad will be doing the chasing around. So there is no time for commenting, as him, his boss and others are busy doing things for people down there! 

Once we feel the majority of donations have been received, Dad will write a Company check, with a poster listing names, where you are from and pictures of all those that donated, and have it hung up at the shelter!

Hope you all saw the pictures of the donation yesterday, Dad said those two girls were trying not to cry, and they have eight puppers there now cause the Humane Society is being overrun with all kinds of animals!

The closest that the Humane Society says on the count is over a hundred puppers and they can't keep up with the Kitties count! This does include the vet center at Home Depot, and now Norman is using the county fair grounds for an animal shelter. The news just said more and more people are finding their little pals through the internet.

Hurrah for Texas, the SPCA of Texas took 75 puppers that were existing residents of the Humane Society to make room for the tornado lost puppers coming in.

One sad note: yesterday was a wonderful day with light winds and nice temps, and everyone was let back in to start the clean up, but today it started storming at 6:00 am and by 8:30 am the area has had over 3 inches of rain, and small flooding problems

We will save all funds until we feel that most donations have been received, then a Company check will be written. We will use a photo of YOU and  your name on a POSTER when we donate the check!
