MEMORIAL/DECORATION DAY...
TODAY is Memorial (aka Decoration) Day in this country.. It is the day that we REMEMBER those who have SERVED our Country. We especially honor those who have passed away. We Place Flags and sometimes Flowers on their graves.
There are Parades and Speeches and Singing Patriotic Songs. And dressing in RED White and Blue and decorating EVERYthingy in our colors... All to HONOR those who have given so much for US.
WE are going to go to a PARADE... it will be THREE HOURS LONG... and SUPER special beclaws this parade is in honor of the Battle of Lake Erie... Where Commodore Oliver Hazard PERRY..... Said his Famous quote.... and guess what??? OUR HILL is in PERRY COUNTY, OHIO. Cool drool stuffs, that is.
No matter WHAT country you live in, THANK YOUR VETERANS fur their service.

We didn't have a parade here, but I did attend a Memorial Day service at the cemetery. It was a lovely service.
