Note to Self:    "HE" is NOT my Puppy any longer...     "HE" is NOT my PUPPY...      "HE" is NOT...

STILL Without anything except Generator Power...  We really can't Blog because of that..butt I do have a whole bunch of pre-posts that I had already set up to entertain my dear furends.
This wind Event...   which has been described as a     ONCE IN A LIFETIME...      actually has a NAME...    DERECHO .....   I had NEVER heard the Word before... so I guess it really IS a once in a lifetime thingy.       There is not a generator to be purchased ANYWHERE... thank goodness we HAVE ONE....   and our house is actually WIRED to run on Generator power...  just not the Clothes Dryer,  AC, and hot water tank.       We can get along fine with what we CAN use...   Just not good to use a computer directly connected to GENERATED power..  so I am using the laptop... on its BATTERY only...         If you have a question or problem with the OLYMPICS...   EMAIL ME....    THAT I can do quickly enough to avoid running the battery down.              We are pulling the generator up and down the road to give those with OUT power... some "JUICE" to keep their Freezers and Refrigerators cold and safe.
Sooooooooo even though we have a the generator.... we are still without power for hours at a time...               We are being told now that it COULD be as long as 11 days.

I hope your power outage last less than 11 days. That is a long time to keep hauling that generator to the neighbors and back, but aren't you and your peeps the greatest for sharing. Have fun in HonnaRooRoo!

That is too long without power! When mom lived in Indiana they would often go a long period of time without power after a storm. That doesn't seem to happen in the west though. Wonder why the difference? Hope things return VERY soon!

Murphy & Stanley

Your dad was very smart to wire your house to run on generator power... seriously that rocks! :) (We also know where to go if all the powers in Kentucky goes out!!)

I know your dad was a Navy guy, but we will have lots of pictures from our visit to the Air Force Museum in Dayton. They didn't let us dogs go (serious bummer).

Bokeh wants to know if he can come to, he has his own surf board.

We just bought one of those generator things. Not sure what ours will power but it is better than nothing I guess. :)

That was some straight line wind. I need a generator! Lee says we need one that is hard wired inside that never travels because she would have no luck at pulling the darn cord. Even our walk behind mower is key start.
Glad you made it through O.K.
