Music of the Civil War...

This is a video of somethingy that only the PEEPS got to do... when Ernie and I (Frankie Furter) were at Sarge's house in Pencil Vane E Ah.
The guys are Steve Johnston on the WHISTLE and  John Tenney on BONES!    YES.. I did say bones... butt not the kind that WE are used to...  these bones seem to have been used to make music.   Who would have thought?

Now let me tell you THIS...   I had THREE videos to show you.. BUTT fur SOME REASON... known ONLY to Butt Scootin BLOGGER...   I could only get ONE to Download.   GRRRRRRRRRR.

Well, I hope that you enjoy seeing and hearing  the    VENANGO BRIGADE   at least Once.   They played a LOT of different tunes that were popular that long ago.     Certainly nothing like the music we hear today.   I'm just sayin.

This was at the public Library... and there were a LOT of Peeps there to enjoy the evening where they learned a LOT about Men and Women who were in the Civil War.       I (Frankie Furter)    HEAR that it was very interesting.
Did I ever tell you that General William Tecumseh Sherman was born in Lancaster, OHIO which is not far from where we live?
PeeS.....    my pre -posts are STILL not coming up on their own... like they SHOULD.     I keep sending Blogger  nasty   very NICE Feedback about it...   and that is just what I think they are doing with them...   FEEDING on them.    Beclaws they certainly have NOT fixed the problem.   I even tried getting rid of the old CACHED thingys...   Nothing is workin fur me...   GRRRRRR.

Better not mention Sherman to the southern dogs...BOL!

Our Grandfather was a Civil War buff, so SHE grew up with busts of Lincoln and Lee and lots of Civil War music.

Except for that music being around the Civil War, Mommy loves it.

Don't get Mommy started on Blogger. We've heard more HBO words since all this crap started then I have in the 7 years I've been with Mommy.

Who would have thought of making music on bones? Very cool sound.

Blogger sure has it out for you. Hope you can get it all sorted out soon. It must be so very frustrating.

Pretty cool old-time music! I'm sorry Blogger is giving you such fits. Have you tried using another browser to see if that affects things any?

I must say, my friend, I don't know what is happening in the world when our YOUNGER siblings are growing BIGGER than us, their OLDER siblings. Maybe your cousin Francine will help keep Ernest in line! ;-)

Oh we liked the music. Lee is facinated by history. We are on Ancestry.com a lot. Lee's great great grandfather was in the Ohio 12th Infantry an at the Battle of Antietam. The 12th took one of the hardest hits, they got cut off with no cover yet they held and did not break.
