The guys are Steve Johnston on the WHISTLE and John Tenney on BONES! YES.. I did say bones... butt not the kind that WE are used to... these bones seem to have been used to make music. Who would have thought?

Well, I hope that you enjoy seeing and hearing the VENANGO BRIGADE at least Once. They played a LOT of different tunes that were popular that long ago. Certainly nothing like the music we hear today. I'm just sayin.
This was at the public Library... and there were a LOT of Peeps there to enjoy the evening where they learned a LOT about Men and Women who were in the Civil War. I (Frankie Furter) HEAR that it was very interesting.
Did I ever tell you that General William Tecumseh Sherman was born in Lancaster, OHIO which is not far from where we live?

Our Grandfather was a Civil War buff, so SHE grew up with busts of Lincoln and Lee and lots of Civil War music.

Oh we liked the music. Lee is facinated by history. We are on Ancestry.com a lot. Lee's great great grandfather was in the Ohio 12th Infantry an at the Battle of Antietam. The 12th took one of the hardest hits, they got cut off with no cover yet they held and did not break.

What a cool event your Mom and Dad got to attend at the library :) I've never heard of peeps playing bones before. Pretty neat sounding :) I try dropping my bones on the floor. They make a nice clunk clunk sound that is like music to MY ears ;) Thanks for sharin pal!
