I suppose you all remember my furends... the Charcoals.... They stayed around my house all last summer fall and winter... and then... sadly Charcoal... went to the Road and then Went to the Rainbow bridge. This is a picture of ONE of the Charcoals... and I am walkin over to have a visit with him. We were GRRRRREAT furends.THIS is a picture of the OTHER Charcoal... who stayed with me clear until July... THEN a Mean Stray Beagle chased him away into the woods... and I have Never seen him again.
This picture was taken BEFORE he hurt his ear..
I totally LOVED the Charcoal and Charcoal. THEY were my bestest furends EVER!!! Even though One of the Charcoals jumped on my back one day... and clawsed me to SCREAM like a GIRRRRL... it was all just in Fun and we were STILL bestest Buddies. We would sleep under the Maple tree.. in the shade and up by the garden in the Sun and we did zoomies together and we dug holes together.. and they LOVED how the holes that I dug were just the right size fur them to lay in.
SIGH

I really REALLY REALLY miss my furends. I wish they would come back. BUTT I guess I KNOW they won't. SIGH

Never say never my lovely boy, Hope is a good thing so never give up on it. There will be new furiends along the way butt you never forget those that have gone before and nor should you. Memories are part of life's treasures, so keep them locked in your heart tight and bring them and look at them every so often and smile.
Lots of love to you always

Jasmine is right. Wouldn't it be great if you saw some mini Charcoals hopping around this Spring?!!!
We are so sorry one Charcoal went to the rainbow bridge and the other got chased off. We hopes one day you will have more rabbit friends. We enjoyed reading about the fun you had with them.
I know you loved them, Frankie! You are a wonderful friend to dogs and bunnies alike. Never say never, miracles happen when you least expect them. Charcoal may be back yet!
Your pal, Pip
They sure were two very pretty pals. We have never seen such dark charcoal ones like those two. Maybe one day they will come back or maybe some of their offspring will make an appearance.

Hey Frankie!
Wow, I agree with Aunty Tea and how sweet that PJ says you can play with her bunnies. The Charcoals were totally great. I think we all miss hearing about them and seeing the pix, so thanks for sharing them with us again.
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, COP
Hi Frank
We miss the Charcoals too.
Love Ruby & Penny
Pees - we also miss the baked rent snacks.
Awww, poor Frankie. I think about the Charcoals all the times, too. It do be a tuff life living in the wild outdoors. At least you gibbed them noms and a place to stay but it could not keep bad things from happening. You did your bestest fur your furrends and I know they appreshiate it.
We are so sad that your friends had to go away, Frankie. We will be purring that some new friends will soon arrive.

Frankie we use to have a rabbit here that we (Bambi) and I would see every morning and I saw the rabbit all the time between Bambi and Tinker. When Tinker came the first morning Tinker wanted to chase the rabbit but she was on leash and couldn't but I have never seen the rabbit since....
We miss her too!!!

We're sorry you're sad, Frankie! Maybe you could talk your peeps into getting you a brother or sister... just sayin'...
Hi Frankie
You might get some new friends to play with, but its good to remember the friends that are not with us anymore.
Have a good week
See Yea George xxx
A fact of life, Mayor, is that small animals living in the wild, very often don't live so long. A sad but true statement there. They will probably be at the bridge whenever you might get there and you can get reaquainted at that time. Maybe what you most need is a little brother or sister daschund to live with you in your house. Check with Mom or Dad on that.
Kisses,
Stella
So sorry your Charcoals aren't around for you to play with, BUT we're hoping one day you will have some new CHARCOALS to play with. It won't be exactly the same, but it might make you feel better :)
The Road Dogs
Hi Mr Frankie, we didn't know your friends Charcoal and Charcoal. They sounded like heaps fun. Sorry one of them went to the rainbow bridge. Maybe if you dig 87 more holes the Charcoal who went away might come back or another bunny friend might visit. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
It's sad when friends go away...but you have some lovely memories....well not the bop on the head. We liked those Charcoals, too. Maybe some new ones will come in the Spring.
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
I'm sure, where ever they are, they are remembering the fun times you all had together. Maybe next spring will bring the next generation of little Charcoals.
So sad, Frankie! But you gave them the bestest present ever: knowing what it's like to have real furends!!
(hug)
They were quite a special pair! I'm sorry that they left all too soon. I really thought they'd have little briquettes out there under your shed!
Bunny
Maybe you could make friends with the Beagle that chased them away instead? :)
