Soggy Carpet....

THIS THINGY was my mom's best furend during the Soggy Days!!! It is SUPER SCARY... THIS is the GRRRRRREAT GRANDADDY.. of ALL... VACULAS. I think it even says....
SCREAM VAC right on the front!!!!!

THAT is Jennifer... in her house... Water came from HER house INTO MY house...

All the carpet got wet... My mom started taking Drawers out of the Dresser... and had Fans Runnin and all of the furniture had to be moved out...

Can you TELL... We LOVE the Color BLUE on my hill!!!

Mom Piled a bunch of STUFFS on the BED... so they would be dry... Until she and dad could make room fur everything... in the garage.

You may remember the Mini FLOOD that I had in my Downstairs last week. It was caused by a FREAK Rainstorm that came from the SOUTH and DUMPED a BUNCH of Water REALLY FAST. Too Fast fur the drains in the Garage (Jennifer Jeep's house) to take away... SOOOOO all the carpet in Bedroom... Den and the Bathroom got SOAKED. My mom and dad TRIED to such up all the water with the Carpet Shampooer thingy... WHICH IS WORSE that VACULA.. let me tell you!!

SOOOOOOOOOO finally after over 24 hours of TRYING to dry the carpet and THICK Padding... My mom and dad just threw in the towel... and went to order new carpet...

THAT was the day that Jennifer almost Died... She had to go to the Jeep Hospital.. on the Jeep Ambulance. The Ambulance Driver Tipped the back of the Ambulance down and Pulled her up and strapped her down. Then my mom and dad got to ride in the FRONT with the Jeep ambulance driver. The Doctors were able to SAVE her... and she is doing Teeeee Riffic now!!!

So THEN..Carpet Guy came on Thursday.. and Ripped up the WET stuffs and took it away. THEN.. on the Fourth of July... Carpet Guy came BACK and put the new down... I'll show you pics of THAT tomorrow..

Now let me say this.... our situation was not FUNNY.. butt it is soooooo much better than other peeps and kitties and pups have had lately!! I am one Lucky pup fur sure.

I was really reminded of that when I read what all has gone Wrong fur Phantom and TD and Ciara and their peeps. I just wanted to whimper fur them when I read it!!

PeeS... I have some GOOOOOOOOD.... NO.. not just Good... GRRRRREAT news.. Asta was thinkin that she might have to move out of Blogville... butt she has been able to talk her mom into Staying... AND... Ronnii and Uji's mom had some bad troubles with one of her Fangs and now THAT is BETTER!!!!!! Yea!!!!

See what I mean... GRRRRRREAT NEWS!!!

Has anybuddy heard anything from Mollie Jo and BoBo??? Hope they are OK..

We had that whole water in the basement thing happen here a couple of years ago, and believe or not, Mom says THAT was actually worse than this roof deal. We are glad your problem is all better now both for the carpet and Jennifer. But we did really love that other blue carpet.

Good to hear that things are better for Ronnii and Uji's Mom. And we are thrilled that Asta is staying. We hope all is well with Mollie Jo and Bobo.

Thanks for all the news updates.

Woof! Woof! YES we are also having strong rain lately. We are very lucky that no water in our basement. We make sure the drain outside is always clean. Lots of work when you get water in your basement ... glad that non of your furniture were damaged.
it seems lots of our doggie friends are deciding to move out of blogville. Most of them just have FB page. I am curious what's the reason.
Read your comment yesterday ... YES unfortunately it cost $1 which is a contribution to MHS. I am currently on 3rd place. Golden Thanks.

OMD Frankie! I am so glad you have all survived that ordeal. What a mess it is to deal with da floodings.......your mom is very much smart to replace that old wet stuffs. Nothing worse than carpet paddings that have been very wet, and then it might even grow da mildew!

Now, I am all full of wonder about what the New carpet color is...........could it be blue? Or maybe a nice snowman pattern??????

Unknown said...

PeeS........speaking of da snowmans. I hopes your moms Snowman population wasn't stored in that flooding area...

Mum wishes she could have a good reason to change all our carpets over, it was here when they moved in about 10 years ago and she didn't like it then!
