ThunderShirt and Foods

Ok... this is a picture of a big plate full of BEEF LIVER... that my mom cooked fur me. She put it in a HOOOOOGE pan with Barley, grated apple, grated Sweet Potato, grated carrots, and some dried cranberries. Then she cooked it fur like 87 hours... and my house smelled SOOOOOO good.
Once it got all cooked up and tender... she added some Parmesan Cheese and some Olive Oil. THEN she cut up all the liver very small and cooked it a bit more... to BLEND those Delicious flavors all together.. and Let it cool. THEN... I got to eat some fur my supper and she put the rest into Supper/sammich Bags and froze them fur other nights.

I'll bet you are all drooling all over your keyboards... go ahead and admit it.

Now this is the package that came with my ThunderShirt in it.

Dumbo MOM... ordered a size XS fur me... She should KNOW that I have a Manly 17 inch Chest and that it would be TOO small... so she has to send it back....

I tried it out though... anyway. Just not as tight as it would go. I went fur a ride in Jennifer Jeep... I only shook and shivered... on the way to the little town library. On the way HOME I did NOT shake.

THEN we had a STORM that night so Mom (stuffed me back into it) put it BACK on me. I STILL shook, shivered, and Cried like a BABY... BUTT not fur Nearly as long as I usually do.

SOOOOOOOO my mom has all kinds of hope that... Once she gets the Replacement ... which will fit my Manly CHEST much better... I will not be AS afraid as I normally am. I hope so too.

I'll let you know... when the new one arrives.. and one of these Dreadful thingys happens again.

PeeS... I had to wear it around fur a while... when there was Nothing Scary going on... just fur practice.

PeePeeS... You have prolly already seen that Lorenza has posted.. Grandma is doing much better butt Lorenza has been REALLY busy taking super good care of her. That is why she had not posted fur a while. AND... Twix's mom says that "Grandma" is doing MUCH MUCH better than they had expected... butt Twix and Taffy and their mom are busy helping "Grandma" and don't have much time to post. WHEW... I was sooooo worried about our furends. This is all good news.

You're right, we're droolin'! And you look fantastically handsome in your shirt, even if it is a bit too small for your macho body.

Your mom makes you gourmet dinners!! That's a feast fit for a king. I am lucky if I get a TV dinner or a bowl of the dreaded prescription low fat dog food!

I think the thunder shirt is helping so hopefully you will get the larger one soon so that you can at least breath when you have it on.

Maybe you could get one with a handle on the back for convenient transport.

Oh that liver dish sounds divine. I wonder that it was not served at a certain wedding party last Friday. Fit for royalty, indeed.
But how could your Mom get it wrong about your many 17 inch chest size? Humans, huh!

Hm, mom was thinking about trying that out, but I don't have any really big problems, I just bark a lot when there's thunder or fireworks... So, she's very interested to see how it helps you!

Hi Frankie,
My Mommy the Vegetarian almost gagged at the sight of all that liver. Even though she knows it would be healthy for me - she just can't go there. It takes all her MOM powers to boil chicken and rice for me.

Darwin has a thundershirt too. She got the biggest size, but it's still snug across her large bosom.
And what a fancy dinner! Darwin is jealous!

That is cool that the thunder shirt might help you. It sounds good. We need a mailman shirt for Kelly. Would it help her relax and stop barking at him?!

Ewww, Frankie, I don't like the look, smell OR taste of liver, but I hope you enjoyed it!!!

Oh yeah, I dribbled & foamed all over the keyboard like a rabid animal! That looked fantastically good! I can even smell it through the compooter screen.

We need the momster to make that for us too - looks great, Frankie!!!

Great news on both Twix and Lorenza. We hope life for both of them and their families, and especially their grandmas starts to go very well.

We hope that thundershirt works well for you. We know it has helped some other pups a lot. And of course,Manly Frankie needs a bigger chest size:)

This post made me SO full of the hungries. My mom can't make anything - I'm so neglected. Any extra room in that toy room for me too??

I misread the title of your post and I have to say, I've very relieved that it's just a SHIRT. I'm anxious to see how it works for you! Paws crossed!

And thank you for the updates on our pals. We've been worried.

Hi Frankie! Well that plate of liver looks good enough to eat, we love it but thanks to Dexter's low fat diet we don't get it too often. Our human is very interested in your thundershirt, she went to a Tellington Touch day where they used body wraps for nervous dogs, Louis is scared of his own shadow so she's always trying things to help him. Take care my friend, Dex & Lou x

Frankie,
This is Daisy's human here and I've gotta admit that your liver recipe did not make me drool AT ALL but I know Daisy would be drooling all over my pant legs and all over the keyboard if she saw this post!
Since you have "published" so many recipes I'm wondering if you are going to publish a cookbook soon. If you do, Daisy wants the furst copy, pawtographed, of course!

Wow, you are a lucky puppy...it looks like your mommy went to a whole lot of trouble to cook you that wonderful dinner!

Let me know how the Thunder Shirt works - I have very little faith in a tight shirt calming pups, but I've read soooo many good things about it. So it must work, right?

WHOA! That food your mom cooked for you looks DEE-lish! And you're right. I'm all kinds of drooly.

My paws are crossed that when you gets your new Thundershirt, it'll work good for you. I'm not skeered of thunder but you already know that I'm skeered of other stuffs. And the Thundershirt helps me feel more calm and not so worried abouts stuffs. I hope it does the same thing for you, Frankie!

This is my second summer with the Thundershirt but at first I did not like it one bit and my Mom thought it was a waste of money. Now when I start getting upset, she asks me if I want my Thundershirt and I stick my head right into the collar part and she fastens it up and it Helps! I like it and I bet you will too!

Kisses,
