Our Family in ALABAMA is SAFE!!!

Lana here!!! I just had a call from my Brother-in-Law.. in Alabama!! They are all SAFE!!!

Ron says they are without power or Land line phones.... butt they finally got cell phone service.

Ron says that their house does NOT have one bit of damage.. but the house that is about 200 yards from them... is TOTALLY GONE!!! The neighbors are SAFE.. they were in the Basement. That is where Ron and Linda were ... also.

There is a full two car garage in their side yard... that used to be 1/2 mile down the road.
He says that he is stunned that their home was totally spared and that there is so much damage all around them. It is a TOTAL Miracle!!!!
They did go to Arab.. which is normally a 10 min. trip. It took them an HOUR to get there... by many different routes... because there are hundreds and hundreds of trees down across roads. They took what Meat they had in their freeezers to Arab... where their friends live.. and DO have power. Ron says they have NO idea when they will have power and full phone service!!! They live out in the country and it is not a priority. THANK GOD they have a BRICK HOME.
THANK GOD they are safe and their neighbors are safe. Frankie's mom Lana who is very very very relieved.

So glad to hear that family is safe! We've been complaining a lot about weather here in southeast Michigan (our backyard seems to have become a swamp, and we think the dogs have started careers as mud wrestlers!) -- but in comparison to so many these days we are both fortunate and lucky.

Blessings to all.

We are glad your family is safe. It is amazing the destruction a tornado can do. And like they said totally destroy a house next them and not touch theirs. To me it looks like a hurricane hit minus all the water. Same type of damage when Hurricane Ike hit my parents area in Crystal Beach, Texas. So we know first hand what these folks are going through. Prayers for everyone. Sniffs, The HoundDogs and Mom

Hearing this great news about a family in Alabama is so good after hearing so much bad about so many in the south. Thanks for letting us know.

By the way, our blog at Team Beaglebratz (and our Internet connection) is back up and running now.
