Corn...

I told you my corn was already really really tall. If you look in the center you can see the tassels starting.

Those tomato stakes are 5 feet tall, butt some of that is down in the ground, of course. You can see that the corn is taller than the steaks are though.

I had my mom hold her arm right out level and she could touch the top of the corn. I wish it would have ears and be ready to eat by the Fourth of July. Well, it won't be too much longer though. mmmmmmmmmm
PeeS... have you sent your picture(s) to the Fiesty Three yet??? Better do it quick if you want to be at their Pool/Luau Pawty.
PeePeeS... Don't furget to check my blog on July 6th. for the big info..

We used to have corn in our garden too, but momma said we always got too many bugs in it and gave up.

I would watch out if I were you because corn is where monsters hide in scary movies.

Woof! Woof! WOW! My mom so jealous of your garden. I do know that you eat corn. for your safety ... make sure to be extra careful with the corn-cob ... it can actually cause intestinal obstruction. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

Your corn looks just awesome! I think we had too much rain here for ours to do very much.

We surprised you, eh? We weren't sure if it would really happen until we all went up and met her, but we all have hit it off pretty well! I hope your surprise next week will be just as exciting!

Your garden looks fantastical! You have a very good staff. My staff is always losing the battle with weeds here but I see you have your staff much more trained!

Have you ever seen that movie, Oak-luh-home-ah? There's part of a singing song that goes "The corn is as high as an elephant's eye." I bets your corn is almost that high!

Corn on the cob - yummers - that's what our Mom says. And that cabbage looks so good - got any corned beef around to go with it?

Working on our pics, but we are not happy about dressing up:)

When our mom was a girl she had a doggie named Beagle that liked to pick her own corn cobs and shuck them and eat the corns! Sometimes she pulled out a whole stalk and brought it up to house! BOL!
