PLANTING MY CROPS

My very much good furend (Baxter) put me onto this. Baxter planted some Kibble seeds in hopes of growing a Kibble tree! Unfortunately... shiver.... SQUIRRELS.... dug up his seeds. He does plan to re-plant his crop.
Sooooo I checked in dad's pile of crap (stuff) and found a Dogalog from the Belchee Kibble and Snacks Seed Company. Sooooo then I pawed through it and found this grrreat deal on Milkbone essentials PLUS Seeds. They came today!!!

I took my seed packet and went to my garden and got to work... I had to do it all by myself beclaws my lazy dad was napping in his 'cliner chair. I got some seeds out and got ready to did some holes.
I found one of those white marker thingys that dad uses when He plants stuff in MY garden. I marked MY row with it. That way HE won't be digging my stuff up.

Once I got the holes dug... all by myself... I started dropping the milkbone seeds in. Then I covered them up and sprinkled every one with my pee shooter. The box didn't say they needed any fertilizer though. I think they will take 87 days to be ripe and ready to pick. I can't wait. I'll be able to go out there and pick sweet fresh milkbones every day. I might even see if mom will can some and freeze a few. YUMMMMY...... Thanks BAXTER, you had a grrrrreat idea.

You have been a busy boy planting. I hear Ruby and Penny like working boys. I hope you don't impatient like Baxter and eat them too early.

I can't wait to see what the plant looks like! Any chance you could tell me where to get the catalog? Mom and Dad haven't planted our garden yet, but I'm sure they'd let me use a corner for those plants!

How will you be able to wait a whole 87 days?

Oh Frankie! What a Most Terrific and Delicious idea! 87 days is SO far away! I don't know how I can wait that long to see your milkbone tree. Most Excellent idea on the canning and freezing. That way you'll be able to have them all next winter!

That is a great idea, Frankie. We sure hope you have better luck than Thunder Dunder did last year when he planted a piece of one of his stuffies in the hopes of growing a stuffie tree.

Those milk bones will also taste better than the store bought ones and they won't be loaded with insecticides. Now, how can you talk about your dad as if he were a squirrel? You guys need to work on your trust issues

Nice! Jeez we totally have to get our mom to help us plant some kibble seeds. We tried to tell her when we read Baxter's post but she said something about having a black thumb. We think she's lying because her thumb is the same color as all her other fingers. Keep us informed on your progress.

You'd better put a fence around that garden or it's going to end up looking like a dog park. :)

Let me know how that works out for you. Sounds like a great idea. Of course PeeWee would rather plant a tennis ball tree. What does he know?
