company came

My mom and the new "temporary" neighbor Brandie, went away yesterday and they took this picture of a historical marker that is located about 2 miles (as the crow flies) from my house. In 1899 the coldest recorded temp. in the state of Ohio was recorded. It was -39 degrees. Mom thought Brandie would want to tell the people back in Oklahoma about it. I thought you might be interested, too. I hope it never ever gets that cold again. I am afraid it would freeze my...
This is me with my new furend Atticus Finch Brashier. We were just getting to know each other today. He and his brother Austin J. came to play on my porch and in my fenced area.

Austin J. REALLY wanted to get to know me.... I know that white spot in front of my nose looks odd, butt it was just a patch of bright Sept. sun. Austin J and Atticus are BIG. They are NOT dachshunds. I think they are snoutsers or something like that. They were very much interested in my good bones and my water bowl and making Pees out through my fence. All good stuff.

This is a pic of Austin and Atticus with some of my toys and bones. We were on the front porch. I was very much the gentleman and good host. I let them play and chew and pee and run and bark. I think they had a good time. I hope they come back today.

When mom FINALLY came home she brought me two new tee shirts. At least I got a pressie this time. Lorenza was right, all I needed to do was have a serious discussion with her and POOF... I got giftied. I think that maybe she might have had some other things for me, butt... maybe she was just playing Santa Paw's little helper. HUMMMMM, when will that jolly old shelf be coming back again anyway????
While mom and Brandie were away... Dad and I did TWO super fun things. We tore up all of the mean bean plants and then... we went for a ride on my 4-wheeler. We went very much fast past the Grinch's House. Then we went up in the woods to see how dad's deer feeder was doing. I didn't see any deer though beclaws... my wheeler makes too much noise and it scares them back into the woods.
We are not sad about the Mean Beans being gone for the summer. I was getting tired of them sticking to my fur and DAD was getting tired of eating them every day. hehehe
TODAY IS THE DAY I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. MY PHOTOGRAPY GROUP IS GOING TO GO WITH ME TO MY BOAT. I REALLY REALLY DO HOPE THAT WE SEE SOME FUN STUFF FOR THEM TO TAKE PICS OF. Like maybe that squirrel or the Bald Eagle. We are going to have a picnic. I am going to take cheese~~~~ I don't know what Mom is taking. I'll let you know all about it. I just hope they all have a good time.

Hi Frankie
We like your new friends. They have some really cool haircuts.
Have a great time on your boat. I hope the squirrel shows up to photgraph.
Love Ruby & Penny
Pees - it gets really cold where we live. Last year we saw -40 and colder. Mom had to carry us out to pee so our feet wouldn't freeze.

Okay, first of all, you are darling in your new tshirt. Too cute.

You are also very nice to share! I'm impressed. I don't like anyone even moving my toys around before I'm ready! :)

xoxo Frankie
