WE never got to know Mom's Brother... Doug beclaws he went to the Bridge before we were born... Butt we DO know some thingys about him. Furst he taught school (like mom did) fur like 87 years.. BUTT he was also involved in lots of stuffs around the town were mom and he were raised. He even became MAYOR (which might be where I took that pawlitical thingy from,myself).
When the town got a New set of school buildings... the OLD High School GYM was SAVED Pawtly due to Uncle Doug's efforts... and it became a Recreation Center for the town.
Lots of thingys go on there... like rock wall climbing... archery... Power walking... dance recitals...PAWTIES of All sorts... Benefits fur those who need HELP... and even DANCES.
So a few years ago... some folks decided to give the Recreation Center a New Name... The CANNON Family Recreation Center... Beclaws his last name was Cannon..
HERE is a sign... that directs peeps to the "REC" center as is it commonly called.
This is the building.... it doesn't look very big... butt trust us.... it is kinda HOOGE... it is down a hill from where the sign is located...
At the TOP of the hill is the Pawlice station and the City Adminstration building which were STARTing to be build just before Uncle Doug went to the bridge...
THIS is a picture of the completed Building... the Pawlice station is in the Basement...of this building...
