This is how the Guards used to get to the top of the tower. There wasn't even a handrail... OSHA would never let that fly in this day and age. hehehe 
It is a shame that it is all falling apart now, butt maybe that is why it is being Haunted by the guards and prisoners who used to be there. Hop UP again please.
This is a closer view of the guard tower. The guy on duty could come out and walk all the way around it. On HOT days they would stand out there to keep cool. My mom and dad BOTH liked to WAVE to the guards.

Here we go... This was SUPPOSED to be the Furst pic that you saw... I just Messed up (again). This is an OLD abandoned Prison that is about 11 miles from my house. It is in the town of ROSEVILLE (where the famous pottery company was STARTED.) Everybuddy says that NOW it is HAUNTED. I don't know about that, butt it does look kinda scary. When my dad was a little boy... he used to get to go there and play Baseball games against the prisoners!!! How cool is THAT???
The prisoners were NON Violent ones and they were allowed to WORK (HUMMMM maybe that should be re-visited by the prison system) on a local Farm and.. at a brick factory that the Prison actually ran! FOR PROFIT no less. No wonder the place is "Haunted". I hope seeing this place doesn't make you have bad dreams and stuff. I wanted to show it to you Just For Fun... NOW PLEASE ...
