Chewy Review Day....

THIS month Miss Sydney sent us  Tiki Dog   Gourmet Carnivore Beef Liver and Chicken to sample... we did get it FREE butt were NOT compensated fur our Fair and Honest Review.
THAT is how it always is with CHEWY.COM you know.

SOOOooooooooooo  here are some pictures..
This is how it arrived....  tucked SAFELY inside a CHEWY.com Box...
Mom opened it and started READING...
WE had to WAIT and WAIT a LONG time... fur our Taste Test...
The label said that there were LOTS of good stuffs in there...
FINALLY mom opened a CAN....    It looked VERY meaty... not too much gravy... just the right amt. to make it Moist...
We each got a SMALL bowl to taste...

 How is it Frankie???
yummmm  chomp lick  slurp nom nommmm nom...
OH sorry... I furgot you still had your mouth full, Frankie...    I liked this a LOT...
SO did I Ernie...
Now let's get the SUPPER BOWL  down here Woman...   WE are HUNGRY.   That was not much of a Sample you gave us...
AHHHHHHHHHH,     THAT's MORE LIKE IT.
Mom says that we REALLY liked it... and that it seemed to Digest well and stuffs...
HER only concern is...   the can says a Product of Thailand...     She doesn't care much fur us eating foodables that are not made in the U S A.       She says that she would have to think about buying it fur us...  since she is a worry wart.     She also said that she didn't Realize it was a product of Thailand.        Guess she will be READING UP on this Company...
We don't mind THAT... as long as she isn't late getting our supper to us.

Lady is with your mom, she wants Canadian or US companies (Canada is a smaller company) first, or proven companies second. Glad you enjoyed you Thai food:)

We know a cat that eats the cat version of the food. Didn't know it was made in Thailand, though.

How nice that you can share the same dish! Our mom told us to say that. Molly wouldn't allow us to share anything, stingy girlie that she is! That sure does look yummy!

You sure do look like you are enjoying that chow! Whilst I understand your mum's concern, it might put things in pawspective to know that folk feeding furries in Thailand might be saying - 'but it was made in XXX and not right here, so can we trust it?' Such is the way of a global economy.

One thing I recall from OZ was that as far as dog chow was concerned, anything coming from overseas had to meet the same stringent standards as human foodstuffs.... cats, however, are considered 'wild animals' and food regulations do not apply - so I always made sure I had OZ-made stuff for Jasper cat!!! hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

That does look pretty nice with the small pieces.
Mum can't believe that you eat out of the same bowl without killing each other like we would!

We had the same concerns about Thailand when we first reviewed a food mfd there, but in reality there are some very good brands of food mfd there under strict guidelines. We did search for information on whether it is safe the first time, the second time ... now we don't worry. We just did a review on Tiki Gourmet Carnivore today and Jan had less concern about it than had it been made in China - and some brands even in the US. Glad you enjoyed it.

We had the same concern a while back when we got a food to review - it was made in Thailand. It has lasted a long time cause mom just uses it to give us our medicines and we have had no problem

Yeah, we usually get stuffs made in Australia, NZ, Canada and USA. Haven't heard of any problems with Thai stuff, but there have been a couple of problems with China-made stuff......quickly growing capitalism is more interested in a quick buck than quality.

We hope you both eat at the same pace so one doesn't miss out on all that deliciousness:) We have heard good things about many products from Thailand too, but we do understand the concern.

Thanks for the review.

That looks very yummy! Our humans go out for Thai food all the time! The best place for the best Thai food in Rochester is the "King and I" restaurant. Oh oh. Now we think our humans are going to go there tomorrow! But seriously, we understand your concern.

Nows, overs at the Porties, they tasted the same stuffs (and loved it too!), and their Moms did a through search on this company, and also found good stuffs about it, so I thinks your Moms can rest easy, and lets you have MORE!!!! We tried the Tiki chicken and duck, but only after Mom did some research on the company. It was delicious and Mom says the company checked out as reliable.
