Bone Heads... Before...

Here are our FRESH Deer Bones.....  BEFORE we started on them...

OMD OMD.... the Meat and the FLAVOR and the HOURS of chewing...  that is right here... awaiting... US!!!            Tomorrow I will show you MORE...   about our yummy time.

PeeS....   Our furend Jerry... who has hunted with my dad since 1969....    got this deer.   It was a DOE..
It is VERY VERY rare fur a Doe to have even Small antlers.
Although we DO have MANY antlers that we gnaw on... we STILL hope that DAD brings in a BUCK beclaws... One (or TWO) can NEVER have ENOUGH ANTLERS to CHEW.
Now the difference between HORNS and Antlers is...  ANTLERS get SHED OFF every year and HORNS do NOT get shed.. at all.

Lovely bones. That is right Frankie and in Scotland they collect the antlers and saw them down , pack them up and the horns and hooves after a kill and we get them sold here for shed loads of money. Rather be there with you, lucky pups. Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly

We have hunters in our family (not dad again mom said we would all starve) you can't blame him for trying though!
Mom cooks deer meat for us, she never thought about letting us eat it that way?

Drooool Droooool Drooool. You guys are two very blessed pups. I found a deer leg yesterday while fishing with my MOM. But she said I had to leave it cuz she did not know how long it had been there and did not want me to get sick. I gave her a big raspberry for that.
Blessings,
Goose

Do you have any idea how lucky you are? I get to eat venison kibble, but I've never had fresh venison. And I LOVE antlers. I have an elk antler that is the GREATEST THING IN THE WORLD to chew on. Enjoy!!!

Garth

Oooo, now I learn something new again. Antlers shed, horns dont. What is the difference between a deer and a foe, again? I know I learnt that in primary school but dont remember, haha.

I have never had any kind of bone. My Mommy got me a antler and I just don't get it. Its so heavy, so I haven't done much with it. I am glad you are enjoying yours.
