To BLOG or NOT to BLOG...

OK my furends....   IF you did NOT see our furend MANGO's Post from Yesterday... I just think you have your head in the Kibble KAN!!  GET it OUT and go READ his WORDS OF WISDOM..   You can click      HERE      to   "HOP" over and read it.

He posed the question..   To BLOG or NOT to Blog..   Whether tis better to BLOG or to Twitter and Facebook.      WELL I would like to say that it was one of the FINEST POSTS EVER Written.    Mango managed to SAY IT LIKE IT IS.    TO Cover all the Blogging BASES, as it were.   He is one THOUGHTFUL FELLA fur SURE.

What does BLOGGING Mean to YOU???   WHY do you DO IT????   What do YOU get outta YOUR Blog... ?????     What do YOU get outta OTHER Blogs????

I don't do the FB and TWITTER and stuffs...    I (Frankie Furter) am a BLOGGER and TOTALLY LOYAL to the CONCEPT.     In FAIRNESS... I actually DID try FB for 2 weeks... I just did not feel the LOVE... it was NOT fur ME..   BUTT I know some of you LOVE those alternative methods of puttin your thoughts out there fur others.   I'm NOT puttin You down... I am just sayin that BLOGGING is FUR ME.
I have been blogging since Oct. 2008 and have loved every single second of it.        I ADORE and REVERE my FOLLOWERS...  that would be YOU !!!    I admire and respect the blogs that I Follow.      Heck.... THIS is WHERE and HOW I (Frankie Furter) met my BRIDES.
I WORRY about my FURENDS when they... disappear from Blogville.
And speakin of Blogville...  What a Wonderful place it IS..   and YES folks...  Blogville DOES exist.  At least fur ME it does.   Blogville is where EVERYBUDDY is WANTED and WELCOME and LOVED fur WHO they ARE.    We do not discriminate...  when WE say EVERYBUDDY We MEAN EVERYBUDDY.....   We don't care if you MEOW or SQUAWK or Bark..or have Shells or Fur or even FEATHERS or FINS.     YOU are IMPAWTANT and ACCEPTED here.
I will take my MEMORIES of Blogville and its RESIDENTS (THOSE would be YOU) to the Bridge with me.
THANK YOU MANGO fur puttin up that wonderful post.   It REAFFIRMS my belief that BLOGGING is BEAUTIFUL.

I totally agree, Frankie. Our mom takes care of a twitter and 2 Facebook accounts (one is for work and one is for family)... while she enjoys the other means of social media, she only writes little tiny sentences, trying to be funny in 145 characters or less, and we find it unimpressive.

Whereas here we can have lots of space to run around with our ideas... we don't feel chained up.... perhaps that is what it is... Blogville is a big yard, with no fences, but is perfectly safe for everyone.

Wow, I'm pretty good without my morning treat.

Very well said! Mango's post was great and right to the point! We love to blog and all our blogging friends and yes, we do it for us!

We loved Mango's post and this post too, and all the great comments. We hate a world that wants to limit a thought to 140 characters and a reaction to 'like' or not.
Thank you Frankie, you are a hero.

Hi Frankie - we saw the Mango's post yesterday and it did indeed rock! We have been rather listless in the blogging arena in the last year and we're gonna put more pressure on Mum to get crackin - even making a lil post more frequently! Blogging is definitely far more personal and up close with da buddies, who we love. Thanks for re-iterating what the Mango woofed; greatest alltime post ever!

I love being part of the blogging world. I might not blog every day, but when I think I have something to share I let everyone know. Yours is one of the first blogs I look for every morning. Thanks for being there, but don't feel any pressure to do it every day ;-)

We think blogging is the "main thing" but use FB to do quick updates. The blog posts have much more substance to them fur sure. On another note, we are hoping that you give some direction to us newbies as to how we do the actual hosting of Olympic events. Will the "athletes" just send us a pic to post on our event? That way we can have a nice post of each event? Also, maybe it might be a nice idea to present the gold, silver and bronze medals to the athlete that participates in the most events, and another award for all athletes? That might help increase participation?

Your friends,

Murphy & Stanley

Frankie, You hit the squirrel right on the head my pal. I did see The Mango's post, I mean I think its some sort of crime if you don't follow the big guy anyway. The post was very well said and I agree with all of it and with you. Mommy does do FB, but only cause she is kind of a game nut and she can play games on there and also keep up with nieces and nephews and such. There is nothing like blogging. Where else could you pour out your heart to people that don't even know you and get such love back. Blogging is like squirrel soup for the soul. Mommy has problems sometimes with saddies and blogging has brought her back so many times I can't even count. We love blogging and without it, we wouldn't have pals like you Frankie and Ernie and that just wouldn't be right.

Loveys Sasha

p.s. I couldn't watch the video so I went back and watched you and Ernie fighting over the squeaky basketball and that made me happy all over again

I do have a fb account but really only use it to play games. I rarely use it as a forum to discuss my thoughts or anything. I do like it as I'm able to catch up with friends I rarely see, by reading their posts.

I much prefer blogging though. My bloggy furiends are so much nice than my IRL furiends. They've been there for me at times when my IRL furiends weren't, such as when my dad died. Some of my IRL furiends have never even acknowledged his passing.

Goog one Frankie!!!!! We don't FB, tweeter, not even do texting and hardly use the cell phone, unless we need mom or dad. Blogging is a blast, were else can you get such neat stuff about the animal world and have mom and dad envolved to type fer us. Only thing we can't get is we must be doing something wrong,we get very few comments, or even just vists. Is it we have not been on board long enough, or as dad says, guess we are just boring?

We love Blogging! Though SHE has a FB account, it's rarely used and there's been no desire to Twitter. But blogging is the best. There is such a community, such sharing...not just the 'I'm doing this' attitude of the others.

Keep blogging.

Mr Frankie, you have said it so well. When we first started to read your post, and then saw, 'To blog or not to blog' mum's heart went boom boom boom, cause she thought Mango Momma was going to stop blogging! Pheeeeew! That was not so!

We agree totally with all you have said. We LOVE our blogging friends and all that this community means to us. We feel LOVED and RESPECTED. We just wish we had more time to visit and comment on everybuddy that visits us but sometimes we cant.

Thanks Mr Frankie, Little Ernie and your special mum and dad. Families like yours and Mango Momma's (and so many others) are what keep our blogging community alive. Hugs to all cause mum is feeling 'full of love'. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

You and Mango hit it right on da nose. Me don't do da FB ting either. And me is not a bird so me don't tweet. But all my best furiends are in Blogville. I read da posts everyday even though I can't always comment. I only wish I could do more postees myself....but sometimes life gets in da way when your family is fighting serious illness and also your pawrents decide to remodel da house. But one day tings will settle down again.

We luvs you, Fwankie!

Hi Frankie and Ernie! I do not gave Facebook or Twitter, I don't like them, they feel cold and dangerous to me! Blogger is my little world, its where I can tell my story and my followers are more like my family and my friends, I love the community, the spirit and love for my fellow Bloggers, so for me its blogging all the way and like you I get so attached to my fellow blogging furiends that I miss them when they leave or even go on holidays and have genuine sadness when someone goes over the rainbow bridge! Thank you to all my friends here and to you for sharing Mangos post! Love, Licks and Hugs from Your furiend Frank x x x x x
