Talk to....

Naturally... I put these pics in the way I wanted them to show up.. and of course they ended up all messed up. OH Well I will just tell you the story and you can sort them out. See THIS is Sarge's Mental Stimulation toy PAW thingy. I learned how to do it in less than 87 seconds. I get to do it EVERY time I go to visit Sarge... it is a BLAST to get the treats out of. I wanted to teach MY ERNIE how to do it... SEE... Easy Peasy..WATCH Ernie... this is how you do it....
I showed him over and over and he just could NOT learn how... He kept lookin fur an EASY way to do it.
I had mom load it up with our favorite... String Cheese... and
Ernie NEVER did Learn how to get to the Prize Inside.Just when I was thinkin he was really SMART.... he goes all STOOPID on me. I didn't mind so much when I found out that He can't Read He can't Talk He can't Blog... SIGH I had to go and get myself ... a Defective Puppy. I think I am gonna give him away (well, probably NOT).
PeeS..... I have been seeing MORE and MORE of the Double the Trouble Word Varification (Prove you are NOT a Robot) thingys lately. Now here is the thingy... they MAY be on YOUR blog and YOU would NOT even KNOW IT.... PLEASE PLEASE ASK your readers if they have to do the Double the Trouble Varification... They will tell you!!! I do not know of ONE Single Blogger that LIKES HAVING TO DO ALL THAT WEIRD TYPING.
It REALLY is NOT needed to protect yourself and your computer.
HERE is a way to tell if they are set on YOUR blog... without asking your beloved readers... just go to your OWN Blog... and Click Follow . When you do that you will see your blog as others see it.
Just so you know.... I am not complaining. It is YOUR BLOG to do as you wish with. I am just telling you this so that you will actually KNOW that it very well MAY be there.
I am going to start telling everybuddy that has it... just for their info. Please don't be angry with me over this.

Hey Frankie!
Wow, you did so great with my paw toy! I usually get tube steaks when I play it. I think Ernst tried his bestest, but maybe he was afraid he'd hurt it. Gee, I sure hope he isn't defective because he is so CUTE that I think we'd all have to forgive him anyway! BWAR HAR HAR.

We have that same puzzle. Mario, our current foster, figured it out in 57 seconds, too. Minnie, on the other hand, couldn't be bothered. And Mack wanted to know, "What is a puzzle", true to Pug form. Ha ha ha.
After Mario got his time down to seconds, we passed the puzzle on to a cousin.

And the word verification thingy is a pain in the ***. We turned it off, thanks to you!

Drools and licks,

Hey Frankie - I don't think Ernie is a slow learner - I think he's very smart. You see - when he sees cheese, he must remember the "cheese for pees" thingy - and if he is inside....well he knows he is not allowed to go pees... and I makin' any sense? It's late here!

Now I'm all intrigued about your Aussie food thingy. Is it crocodile or vegemite...maybe kangaroo steaks??? I wonder. I'm not going on my trip to uncie's until later in April, so I'll be around for a while yet.

PeeS: Don't make fun of our vegemite now! Your Americans are just not tough enuf to cope with it.... the trick is you havta have it real young, along with the butter on your toast......your tastebuds must mature with it - you can't just eat it when you are all grown up like. Just remember there are wierd things you guys eat too which make us feel ill to think about.

Oooo and something else Frankie - that double trouble word thingy!! Well - you know that we had that switched off forever? A few days ago Mum switched us to the new blogger interface thingy.... and it was switched on by itself!! We switched it off as soon as we saw it. Then the next day - we are checking around and it was ON again! By itself!! So we have switched it off AGAIN. I think blogger puts it on when we are not looking! So our fellow bloggers might be thinkin' it isn't on theirs becaws they have switched it off - BUT YOU NEED TO KEEP CHECKING!! Blogger AAAAaaaaarrrhhhh!!!!

And that is like one of the coolest dog toys EVER! And don't worry, Frankie, I'm sure Ernie will get it eventually!

Um, Frankie? I don't think "defective" or "stoopid" is the pawlitically correct thing to say. I think you meant to say that Ernie is special. SPECIAL. Okay?

See... if we were presented with that puzzle and couldn't get it, we'd just have to give our mom the Sad Eyes Look and BAMO! She'd give us the cheese. Without us having to work for it. Not too shabby, huh?
Luv,
Dave
PS: I hope our blog doesn't have that stupid thing on it! We have a devil of a time deciphering those things!

Maybe Ernie just needs a few more lessons.

Our blog is ok right? I check and check it and no word verification on our set up.

Frankie, first of all, string cheese, are you kidding me?? That is like only my favorite kind of cheese ever in the universe. If I had that game, I would kick the whole thing over so all the cheese came out and I would eat it all and not even share with anyone. String cheese makes me crazy. Ernie is still kind of young, I bet if he hangs around you long enough some of your smarts will start to rub off. Maybe you should try rubbing your head against his and see if the smarts get on him.

p.s. I hope that word verification ghost doesnt get me, I am scared now

Poor Ernie, even with someone as smart as you teaching him he still couldn't get the treats out. Well...don't give up, maybe there is still hope!!!

Awwwww Ernie, some of us are a bit slower at getting things but when we do we get em big times. I don't think you have to worry Frankie, Ernie will get there in his own time. Mummy thinks she took the double bubble trouble wordy thing off a few weeks ago, but please let her know if it's still there cause she can be a bit stoopid sometimes :)xx

houndstooth said...

Um, did somebody pee in your kibble today? I think Ernie is just fine the way he is! We all have different strengths and gifts. Just because he doesn't like puzzles doesn't mean he's defective. I'll bet he can read all this stuff and he just isn't telling you!

As for the captchas, Mom had to turn comments to moderation for all because some people just kept leaving nasty comments on her artsy blog (that she hasn't even updated in forever). I know you don't like the captchas. Just because you don't have trouble with spam and nasty comments doesn't mean that other people don't. Just my two Milkbones' worth.

I have to humble myself and admit that I could not figure out that puzzle. There could be a missing puzzle gene that Ernie & I just don't have. Don't give up on him yet.

I support you on your anti-word verification bandwagon. It's a nightmare!

Ooooh, I like those mental toys. I just thrash them all about, until the treats fall out. "Brawn no Brains" works for me!!

Yep, the word verification is multiplying again. We are so tired of typing the news. Most bloggers are glad to know, but it's a never ending typing marathon.

Howdy Mr Frankie, we can't believe Little Ernie is defective. He just needs a little more time. Just in case though, better find your warranty. Just kidding. We know he has wormed his little body into your heart (and ours too)!! About the two word thingy, we find it annoying too and took ours off. We don't seem to get any spam at all! No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

We have that puzzle to. I would get the pieces off and Bokeh would sneak in and steal MY treat. :(
