Ernie's FURST SNOW....

On Saturday.... Ernie got to see his FURST SNOW.... TRUST me... he Was NOT Amused!!! He is a chip off the Dachshund Block. He was STUNNED to be able to SEE his Paw Prints!!!
The FACT is.... it kinda Scared him... So I had to Actually Walk (FORCE) him out in it...
AND he Kept BEGGING me to Let him go BACK In!! THIS bottom pic is of him... sittin down and REFUSING to go out.... Without ME...
See the scrape marks??? Mom made those... She tried to get MY Ernie to Sniff Snow... BUTT he wouldn't do it fur HER.. BaaaaaaWAaaaaah.. I PRAISED him and PRAISED him fur showing so much WISDOM..... ERNIE waited fur ME to Show What that stuffs was and I was so proud of him fur not trusting HER... Ernie Knows that He is MY PUPPY and that I (his Frankie Furter) will keep him SAFE. I'm not raisin any Squirrel Brained Boy!!!

Snow, for Ernie but we don't blame him for wanting to be nice and warm in the house though. It was like 45 degrees in Illinois yesterday. Crazy weather we are having because we should have SNOW as well. Sniffs, The HoundDogs

Hey Frankie!
Wow, I personally love piles and piles of snow! It's great for leaps and zoomies. But, my Mom hates the stuff so she definitely understands. She says Good Job Ernie! Very smart pup. I love his new coat! It's beautiful on him and looks very warm...though obviously not quite warm enough to suit him! BOL

Ernie is so handsome! (Do Ruby & Penny have a single sister??)
We have missed you guys so much !! Our old mom is so lazy, not helping me blog.
And we just found out about the Pittie Pack.
That is so sad we really don't know what to say. We are just so thankful for the wonderful pups here on DWB who are helping this wonderful family.

Not liking snow? Is that possible? Well Ernie, I guess it takes all sorts. You do look most splendid and snug in your smart plaid coat.

I am with Sarge on this.....I LOVE the snow. the more the merrier. Lots and lots of it. You know why?

Cause it eventually melts into water and then the water runs into my rivers and lakes and I GET TO SWIM.

You and Earnie need to look at the whole picture. Like me.

So you see.
Snow is good.
OK maybe not so good when you have short legs and your privates are alwasy being turned into ice cubes.
OK, maybe I understand a little.

I got it.....you can send all your snow to me. Thats it.

Oh Good. All is well again in Blogville

Love
Bert

Awwww, just look at Ernie with his ickle footprints. Snow is such a weird thing huh? I had my first snow last year and it was very strange and cold and wet. We had frost this morning, but its supposed to be getting warmer towards Christmas, so hopefully no snow for us yet :)xx

Frankie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My momma just squeeeeeeeeeeees with the happiness when her sees fotos of Ernie! Her spent about 87 hours yesterday reading all your past posts since YOU adopted him!

I must admit Uncle Tommy got 'a little' tired of her calling him to the yaptop to "see one more foto of the cutest dachshund puppy"

YAY Ernie!!!!

.........and, YEP, we is back!!! Heeheeeeeeee

Hey Frankie Furter.

Woo are a good brother. Me, I would've tried to mess with him and kick snow on him and do fancy snow zoomies around him. I guess that's why I don't have a brotha... huh.. sigh.

Does da snow mean he needs more cheese for pees? No, you didn't raise a dummy, Frankie!

Heh. You doggies with short leggies sure crack us up when it comes to snow! Of course, when it only takes an inch or two before you are snooter-deep in the stuff, we can understand how the cold white stuff might not be to your liking! So, it looks like you are teaching your pup good things! BTW, we didn't realize that h--d--- was a derogatory term for you sausage-shaped doggies. We will do our best to not use it in the future, but if we do, please forgive us (well, blame Mom - she's the one who types) for our ignorance! :-)

Merry Christmas if we don't get back to you before! (And we hope you DON'T have a 'white Christmas' - as much as we hope that we DO have a white Christmas!)

We don't blame him one tiny little bit. We also HATE snow and rain. We got out long enough to do what has to be done and then we are at the door giving mom what for til she lets us back in.

FRANKIE??? WTF? I have been out of the blogloop soooo long that I do not even know who this fella is! He is awfully handsome and his coat is most dapper (where is yours?). You tell him that 1. I hear you can EAT snows! and 2. Somedoggies (like yours truely) don't have any snows at all so he best get to playin' in it!
Sorry I am such a stranger these days but it is nice to see what you are up to!

Ernie, I KNOW it's a little bit skeery at first but TRUST me. Once you get used to it, it is SO much fun to ZOOOOM around in! It's also super fun to eat and snuffle in. It's okay to take it slow but before long, I bets you'll be havin' the best time EVER in it!

And all we can get here is rain, rain, and more rain. Phantom is like Ernie is with snow. He will NOT go out in the rain. The rest of us love it, but we would much rather have snow.

Maybe you need to get the little one some boots.
