CUT UPS !!! hehehe

This is what the cabbages looked like when we started...

I get to eat at least ONE of the cores!! YUMMMMMMM I love that crunchy stuffs.

We got 5 gallon bags of Chopped Onions put in the freezer.

This is how they looked before they were chopped...This is a 5 gallon bucket that the peeled and washed ones were in. WHEW they STINK!!

We ended up with 11 gallon bags of Cabbage... all ready fur my mom to cook with this winter.

AND... YESTERDAY mom made 14 more quarts of V-8 juice. I love that stuff!!!

Now, in case you haven't heard Mimi Roo's Sister Gracie is gonna have to have surgery now.

I can't tell you much more than this.... butt I'm thinkin that Blogville just might be gonna have a BIG Picnic on Monday September 5th.. In the States.. that is a holiday called Labor Day. Soooo keep that date OPEN fur a FUN TIME!!!

Hi Frankie,
Its great to be back, thanks for your visit. I tell yea mom loves cabbage big time, she sweats it in a pan with onions and butter, sometimes she puts chopped up fried bacon in to. We have to give her a wide birth the next day she can get a bit windy if you know what I mean lol!!!
Have a good week
See yea George xxx

Onions and Cabbage - two of Mom's favorites. Your Mom must be exhausted from all that cutting and chopping.

Paws crossed for Gracie and for a successful event.

Whew, I thought you were busy yesterday and you didn't slow down, you just moved on to the cabbage and onions. You and your mom must be really tired. It'll sure be nice to have all that good food in the winter though!

Are you gonna bring some of it to the big picnic?

After our garden disaster this year, we are drooling over yours. Those tomatoes better be good this year is all I know!

We sent a few green papers to Gracie already, and we sure wish we had more to send. I just know that everyone will come together for them, though!
