Mona vs. Blogger...

Look who came calling... Mr. Cooper's Hawk. My dad happened to notice that there were NO BIRDS at any of the feeders. He looked around and discovered this guy.. just on the other side of my safe play fenced area.
He had caught and was eating one of my mom's Blue Jays.
Dad was able to get a few pics before he flew away... with what was left of his Catch of the Day.
I also want to tell you that Last night in almost the exact same spot... we saw Charcoal and Charcoal having an evening snack. They have been leaving me lots of ... Yard Snacks.
Now... about Mona. She and her mom are having a terrible time with Blogger. I think maybe the Grinch got into it. They could leave comments fur a few days butt now they can't even do that. If you have any Ideas fur them... could you please pass them on to Mona and her mom? We are missing them. I'm thinkin you could even leave some helpful comments on the Kissa Bulls (SHELBY) blog and they can call Mona's mom.
I know what they are going through... blogger was giving me fits yesterday. I could NOT get some blogs to open up... ever. And some took 3 or 4 tries. BAH.

We thinks blogger may be adding new stuff which is causing problems for some bloggers. We had trouble visiting some blogs Monday. Everything seems to be OK for us now.

That is one scary bird. We are afraid of Hawks. Tell the Charcoals to watch out for him.

We wish we could help Mona,,,but my mom is sorta...deficient... in the tech department. We hope she gets it fixed soon though!
And is that critter part CAT or something? Yikes!

Sometimes the blogger is just goofy and you have to refrain for a while so they can reboot or whatever it is they do.

Wow...that's a big bird! We had something like that in our back yard the other day and it looked like he was eating a...gulp!...bunny! So be sure and tell the Charcoals to stay far, far away from Mr. Cooper.

I just feel so bad for Mona and her mommy cuz of stoopid Blogger. Has she contacted the peoples in charge of Blogger to let them know of the troubles she's having?

Tell Charcoal and Charcoal to lay low when that hawk is around. We love watching them, but they aren't friends of small animals!

Sometimes we've found that if we save our blog posts and then go back to edit them, we can do more. We've also noticed that we need to sign back in more often. We're working on moving to Wordpress. BOL!

We know there is a necessary hierarchy in the food chain, but we feel badly for the bluejay. Hope that hawk doesn't try to snatch the Charcoals.

We have no idea how to help Mona. We suggested she try creating a new blog and see if she could then import the old stuff, but we really aren't too savvy on all that stuff.

Wow - that is some bird of prey! You might want to tell the Charcoals to look out, squirrel could end up on the menu if Mr. Cooper gets hungry enough!

Hey Frankie!
Wow, what great pix of that hawk. I don't like it when blue jays land on my deck, and the hawks in my territory stay a respectful distance...so I gotta say "Way to Go Coop!" Our eagles go anywhere they want and I do worry a little that they could grab up a doggie my size!
Happy 2011!

Mom missed a great photo opp with our Khooper The Hawk -

Mom was SOOOOOOO fixated on replying to Auntie Di's email that she khompletely missed him/her sitting in the bush right next to us until he/she flew to a nearby tree -

As fur Mona and the Mommy, it is surely puzzling to us -

Be careful of those hawks, Frankie. I hear they like small dogs, too. When I visit Cousin Wrigley up in northern Wisconsin, I always have to be on a leash because of the hawks and eagles. I tell everyone I could easily take down an eagle (being a superhero and all), but no one seems to believe me.

Be sure to stay away from that hawk, Frankie - I'd hate for him to pick you up and carry you away! The Charcoal's would be wise to stay away too!

Blogger can be soooooo annoying! I have those problems sometimes too but figured it was just my computer not wanting to load pictures/pages. Good to know I'm not the only one experiencing issues.

My biggest gripe is when I'm trying to add pictures to a post I'm preparing. I can add one or two but if I add more, it makes me close out of the post altogether and reopen it. The browser button doesn't work.

Oh poor Mr. Blue Jay. What a neat shot that you got though.

Bet you like your bunny snacks. :)

Sorry to hear about Mona's blog. :(
