NEW MILKBONE HARVEST

I know you all been waitin for me to Harvest my Second Milkbone crop of the year.
While my mom was talkin to Puddles' mom yesterday... and just not doing anything USEFUL for ME... I went out and harvested my crop.

As you can see... the second harvest is MUCH bigger and the Milkbones are much nicer and have better flavors.. Well you can't tell about the Flavors.. of course you big silly. Butt TRUST me.. the Fall harvest Does taste better than the Spring Crop.
I had to jump really high to get some of them. No help from mom who was STILL talkin to Puddles' mom.

FINALLY after I got her off the phone... I had her help me with the hard HOT Dangerous to my furs pawt.. of CANNING some for WINTER.

Here I am pulling off some more BURRRRRP Milkbones.

You have to bite off the stems beBURRRRPfor.. X kuse me... you can put them in the canning jars and the HOT water bath thingy.

This was a BUMPER CROP this BELCH oooops X schuze me again... time. Man oh man.. the fresh ones kinda give ya GAS...
HEY MOM... Get out .... BURRRRRP .,.. Sorry... another case of Jars... THIS bush is LOADED.
Hang up that phone... Puddles and Whitney and Albert gotta go out to Pee. SHEEESH those wimmen talk about stupid stuffs, let me tell you. I hardly ever even hear MY name or Puddles name at all.
I got the seeds from the :::::: BURP EASE ::::: CATalog... in case you are wanting to get some for next year. They were only 87 cents a package.
I now have about a zillion jars put up for Winter!!!

I'm so glad that the hot summer didn't spoil the crop. Those must be very hardy plants. Now, do you have any cheese trees? I think we just plant some cheese trees in the back, but I'm not whether our climate is pawfect for it or not.

lotsa licks, Lola

Great harvesting, Frankie - now how many did you really can and how many did you devour? Wonder what your Mom and Puddles' Mom are plotting? You just never know with those Moms.

Mom Beaglebrat here- I better get out and get some of those trees for Queen Shasta. By the way Mr. Frankie - our internet service is out at home and will be out at least until Monday, 9/20. If you would please kind sir, could you somehow weave this into your next post - you are a most clever little man so I'm sure you can figure out a way. I'm sure Queen Shasta would not want her loyal furriends to think she had abandoned them. Thank you from all of us here at the Kingdom of the Beaglebratz.

Sigh. I'm SO jealous that you and your mom have milkbone thumbs. I'm always asking mom if we can plant some milkbone and cheese trees of our own. But my mom's all, "Sweetie...that's why God gave us stores." But everybuddy knows they taste better right out of the garden! Well, at least that's what I hear. I wouldn't know first-paw. Seriously. Am I deprived or what?

My boys saw your pictures and are now begging me to plant them some Milk Bones. They said since they're only 87 cents, even *I* can afford that! Nice of them to decide for me how to spend my cash. Chico says he'd water them everyday for me. Somehow, I don't think that'd be quite the same.
