SO we had to REMIND her
SEE???? The Pull tab is not even TOUCHED... she just attaches the Bunny thingy and wiggles his "BODY" into place.. and then uses his EARS to make the can go AROUND and AROUND... and in less than the Twitch of a Bunny's Nose... the can and top are SEPARATED...
Mom has had this thingy FUREVER... got it from QVC... and they don't seem to have the EXACT same thingys any longer... BUTT they DO have other types that SEPARATE the Sealed Lids from the Can Pawt... with NO SHARP EDGES on either the LID or the Can... and NO EDGE that keeps the foodable stuffs from being COMPLETELY removed..
THIS second Picture is BEFORE the can was OPENED... so you could see the FUNNY BUNNY Face on the thingy... These TYPE of Can Openers are available at Kitchen Stores and other stores that have Kitchen Sections...
Mom LOVES the BUNNY... he has little Pinchers and she uses THOSE to lift the lid off... with OUT ever EVER touching the thingy... even though it would be safe to do so... since there are NO SHARP EDGES on the LID or the CAN... BUTT WAIT... there's MORE... on BIG cans of our Wet Foodables... the Top can be set BACK ON... and it becomes a LID... fur when we don't get a FULL can of Wet foodable.
We thought we would share this with you since we ALL like to keep our Moms .. snack and kibble Fingers Clean and SAFE.

Some of those pull ring tops can be lethal.

Oh yes I have a bit of equipment of similar type... but funny thing is with the peel-back lids, I forget that is an option! Good reminder guys! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
OMD we love this bunny opener.
Mom is going to look for one.

Now that sounds like a great gadget. I always have to be so careful and use a knife to lift up the pull ring thingy first, otherwise I get my finger stuck. Fortunately Miss Oswin's wet food comes in small pouches or she would never get hers!

Oh that bunny does look very useful butt....are you SURE he doesn't eat the foodables as well as opening the cans?????

Any gadget that saves the Treat Fingers is a top-notch gadget in my book!
Food from a can? No way. Everyone knows that the best food is the food the other dog is eating.
We definitely need the bunny thingy. Last time mom opened one it splattered on her face and curtains

If you're not bleeding in the kitchen you're not cooking.
Aroo to you,

We've never seen this kind of invention before. Thanks, guys!
Wow! Ghostwriter should get one of these! She can never pull those can tops open!
What a cute way to open cans! You have to protect those treat dispensing fingers at all costs.
Excellent Public Service Announcement F&E.
There's no telling what trouble our humans can get into, with their thumbs etc.

That's a handy tool. You are so right about keeping the treat fingers injury FREE! We have a thingy that pulls the tab...and we use the lid you sent us for any leftovers.
Mom has a can opener from pampered chef that is similar - no sharp edges!!
we like your bunny

We've never seen such a gizmo. That is a great tool to have around the kitchen.
Mom cut herself today on a can after using the same kind of opener - she is a clutz :)
That is a very cool gadget. Mom has never seen it before but she is going to look for it for sure. Thanks for telling us about it.

Ma has one kinda like that too...though, sometimes it doesn't work on certain cans, butts she loves it!
And, anythings that saves Ma from sharp objects is TOPS in my book! Ma REALLY shouldn't be around sharp objects.....really.
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
We think that dohickey is neat. Jan needs one but we have never seen one and only get to shop at Walmart, so it isn't in our future. She did, however, contact Merrick and let them know there is a big problem opening their lids. They were very nice and said they will pass on the information.
