The other day Wyatt had some FUN WITH FOODS..... and WE loved his idea... So we wanted to join in on the fun...
FURST we took mom to the Garden.... with her little black bucket and told her to start Pickin us some FRESH SNOW/Sugar Snap PEAS.... Here they are after they were treated to the terrible water torture... sort of like WE were Yesterday...
Mom was able to get 6 quart bags of sugar snaps blanched and frozen fur winter. She sometimes just thaws and heats them fur a winter side dish... butt our favorite thingy is when she makes Chicken Noodle SOUP with Snow peas and cut up carrots. Now that is like a breath of SUMMER on a frigid winter day.
PeeS.... EVERY TIME we take mom to pic peas... we get to eat about 87 of them FRESH from the vine... Dawg OH Dawg do we LOVE them.... they are so crisp and CRUNCHY... our mouths get all watery and REFRESHED.

Oh Oh How I love peas. I too pick my own. Just pop out there and pluck them right of the vine. Yum yum yum. MOM says maybe we should come to your house on a winters day.

LOL still laughing over yesterdays landscaping project and the resulting water-boarding. Great harvest you are lucky nothing is growing here and everything is still stunted. Bet we go from grey and cloudy and wet to el-scorch-io. It would be just our luck. Have a marvellous Monday.

Wow, I think peeps are totally wrong when they say not to play in your food! I mean, it's ours so why not. Fun and food...it's a twofer. BOL Great job with the spelling peas...get it...like spelling bees, but peas...getit?!? ahem. Anyway, my peeps are drooling over these veggies, I'll wait for the meat. BOL

Ummm those look great....i am so excited cos dad planted a tiny teeny row of green beans in his teeny tiny garden that has 25 tomato plants in it...no lie.., i thinks he thinks they are for him but mom says i can eat them also.

Mmmm.. Our momma loves snow peas. She is eating some right now in her left over from dinner last night chinese. She only has a couple plants though... they don't make as much as you have. We could never write all our names.

The kindergarteners at the school where SHE sometimes goes grow sugar peas every year and those kids just eat them right off the vine. So much for kids not wanting vegetables.
