Remember when I told you about the POSSIBLE Derechio??? WELL these are pictures from June 29,2012 when a derecho when through this WHOLE section of the country... We ran the GENERATOR and LOTS of Extention Cords...
THIS is our generator... We kept taking it up and down the road to neighbors that had no powers ... so they could keep their refrigerators and Freezers COLD... and do a little cooking... and after 2 days... mom wanted to wash clothes... butt the dryer takes too many powers fur the generator to make run.
She had to dry thingys on ROPES ... THAT was really FUNNY... BUTT THIS is NOT a FUNNY WEATHER system.... EVEN Madi and Puddles will be effected TODAY... Not to mention Bocci and Sagira and her fam.. and Sweet Wm. and Newby and family... THIS is a HUGE system and it is MEAN... Paws Crossed fur EVERBUDDY... there are 77 MILLION People who could be impacted by the Derecho of June 2013.
Now.... we have this POST Pre SET ... so I don't know YET if we will have Intermutts or REAL Powers... BUTT if you don't see any comments from you... you will know why...
Our house is rigged up so that when we NEED the generator.. it can be OUTSIDE and we plug it into the HOUSE wiring... to run SOME lights... the TV and all the FREEZERS and REFRIGERATORS... BUTT we Do take it up and down the road to help the neighbors out... some of the day... beclaws THAT is the RIGHT thingy to do...Helping OTHERS is a BEAUTIFUL thingy. Just Sayin

Oh dear me Frankie and Ernie I hope and purr that mean horrible Derecho will be sucked into a ginormous black hole. Big hugs to you 4 and everyone in your area.

We don't know what a Derecho is....but it must be bad if you need generators!
We got the "tail end" of a tropical storm over the weekend....man....it rained for hours and hours!
Very hard on wieners who don't want to get their peener wet in the grass!

My boys have their paws crossed that the Derecho doesn't/didn't hit you. I just googled it to see where the damage hit, but haven't read the article yet. You're in my prayers.
You're very generous to allow your neighbors to use the generator. While yes, it is the right thing to do, not everyone would do it.
