These are some of Ernie's TREASURES... He is Crazy about stuffs like Sticks and pine cones. See that Red stuffs at the bottom?? Wait until I tell you what THAT... Used to be... before it became one of Ernie's Treasures.
Here he is comin up onto the deck with ANOTHER Stick... he has like 87 million of em.
Now back to the RED thingy... see it.. By my BUTT??? WELL that is somethingy that Ernie found in the BRUSH PILE.. which is in the center of where the Garden Used to be.. and Will be again... SOON... What is it??? It is an OLD DEAD... VERY Dead... Ripe Pepper.. you know what I mean? It was a Green Pepper that was on a vine long enough to get Red ripe.. butt we didn't need it so my mom just threw a bunch of them on the BRUSH Pile... and NOW they have been RE-PURPOSED... into... ERNIE TREASURE
OH and this is just ONE of his MANY Bones...
I have a SMALL collection of stuffs... butt Ernie doesn't (isn't allowed) to Bother MY (Frankie Furter... who is the Boss of Ernie) stuffs. I'm just sayin.

I would say that Ernie is the master of collections at the house. Looks like you might have some tough competition when it comes to the garden this year. Sniffs, The HoundDogs
My goodness Ernie. You sure are a collector. Your Momm is gonna have lots of help whenn her new garden comes in.
We love bell peppers. Aunt Judy uses them as treats so Mommy bought somem for us. Have you ever eaten one that wasn't dead?
Snioff ya later....Weenie

Nice collection Ernie! Me thinks that Frankie may be a bit jealous of your collecting skills... Hey, I'm just saying!
Hugs,
Lily Belle
Ernie knows the good stuff when he sees it, huh?
xoxo
Grrreat collection Ernie! I love to collect sticks too. I even have a stick pile by the front door!
Rooooo!

Ernie is a Collector. Maybe he can get his own show on cable. I like to gather sticks my self. It's been a hobby of mine for years.
So how did the pepper taste?
Blessings,
Goose
Ernie's pile of stuff is great but his red pepper is hilarious!! BOL!
Ernie you do love to collect!! You know Ernie~~~ people are like that too!!! People love to collect stuff too!!! Both Tom and I are collectors as well!! So much so the house is full!!!!!

You guys know the joy of simple treasurers.
Sweet William The Scot
Ernie sounds like Mr. Ripley....however, Mr. Ripley hides his stuff (or the stuff he steals) from everyone.... You are certainly doing a great job at being a big brother!
Looks like Ernie is very collective. He is just like my mom peep!! But least if he is collectin his own he isnt bothering yours!! bol

Jazzi and Addy

-Bart and Ruby
We always knew you loved Puddles D. Rainwater (barrellbutt) hehe.
Those are great treasures. I take all my treasures from inside the house out into the yard. At any given time you'll find yogurt and peanut butter containers all over.
Mrs. Master says we should get a privacy fence b/c the neighbors probably don't like it. What's not to like?
xoxo,
Nora
Um, you might want to keep a close eye on Ernie, Frankie. I'm sure it's very much harmless but, well, we don't want to see him on an episode of "Hoarders.' Just sayin...
Wiggles & Wags,
Mayzie
Frankie, you have an awesome puppy. :)
He is getting to be quite the collector! Hope he is feeling a lot lot better too!
That's quite a collection!
Dachshund Nola
Ernie is just the cutest little guy. I am so glad I told you to get a puppy and you did it!
Kisses,
Stella
That just goes to show that "treasure is in the eye of the beholder." BOL.Why didn't your Mom blanch the peppers and freeze them? That's what I would have done, and then you could have tasty peppers in winter (well...tastier than store bought anyway).
Franky, you have your paws full. We believe Ernie is showing early signs of a hoarder.
Benny & Lily
Ernie's treasures look a bit more peep-friendly than Roxy's. She brings in dead birds (two), old smelly bones, loads of sticks that she chews to splinters in the carpet. leaves....if it's on the ground or hangin' low, it's hers.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Wow Little Ernie is a regular little bower bird. Glad he doesn't mess up your stuffs Mr Frankie. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
I definitely would have eaten that red pepper, no matter how old it was!
Love ya lots,
Mitch
Funny how dogs always seem to find treasures like that!
I'll bet your mama is looking forward to having help from Ernie in the garden this spring.
Pepper? BLECH! BLECH! BLECH!
I think your stuffs should be your stuffs and Ernie has his own stuffs. Pretty cool, when I try to bring in cool stuff like that, my (very uncool) Mommy takes it away. Sheeesh, she doesn't know a good thing.
licks and sniffs Sasha

You both are excellent collectors.

Wow! What a collection of stuffs! Mom never lets me collect stuffs, although I admit the stuffs I like to pick up are usually on the stinky side.
One of these days, Ernie might get big enough to challenge you for the boss position. Just sayin'! I guess we all have our special treasures, though! :)
