Ohio... Mother of Presidents

Remember when I showed you the "Painting" of the Bottle Kiln on the big mural in East Liverpool???? Well one of the thingys that is on there is this pic of all the Presidents that were From Ohio. So I thought I would show you who they were.

Now these paintings aren't nearly the QUALITY of Mr. Warther and Mr. Cottrill's Crafts... butt to make up fur this.....

Just wait until Tomorrow... I'm gonna show you TWO FANGtastic artists then.. Just sayin'.

The Rest of these pics are other panels on the mural. The thingy was really LONG and quite tall. You can kinda tell by the brick work. The bricks were made by Belden Brick Co. which is located not far from where the Warther Museum is.

East Liverpool is located right on the Ohio River... that is why they have the River Boat depicted.

PeeS... Ohio is ALSO known as the Birthplace of Aviation.

the Wright Brothers were from here .. John Glenn and Neil Armstrong are also from Ohio.

Your state comes with quite a history, Frankie. Look at all those presidents you gave our country. As our presiding mayor, your picture needs to be added to that display, don't you think?

Hey Frankie!
Wow, that's one pawesome wall! Very neat historical stuff. Mom says Chuck Yeager (1st to break sound barrier)and Alan Sheppard (1st US in space, before Glenn) can be added to that pawesome list too! We're stretching our brains today! Thanks for sharing those cool pix.

Hi Frankie
I thought Santa Clara CA was the birthplace of aviation beclaws that is where the actual flying thingy was created!!!! So many claims, so few peoples.
I am loving your travelogue. I only hope my Lake Tahoe adventures can live up to the challenge you have set forth.

Frankie!!!! I LOVE YOUR NEW HEADER!!! It looks fantastic!

Yes, all those presidents were born in your wonderful state, but did you know my mom was also born in Ohio!! Her parents lived in West Virginia, but the hospital was in Ohio. Isn't that funny? Now, she kind of bounced all over as a kid, but she lived the first 6 months in Bethany, WVA.

Your pal, Pip
